We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years......It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.

Western media completely ignores major report from Japan’s Energy Commission

A major scientific report by leading Japanese academics concludes that global warming is not man-made and that the overall warming trend from the mid-part of the 20th Century onwards has now stopped.

Unsurprisingly the report, which was released last month, has been completely ignored by the Western corporate media.

The report was undertaken by Japan Society of Energy and Resources (JSER), the academic society representing scientists from the energy and resource fields.

The JSER acts as a government advisory panel, much like the International Panel on Climate Change did for the UN.

The JSER’s findings provide a stark contrast to the IPCC’s, however, with only one out of five top researchers agreeing with the claim that recent warming has been accelerated by man-made carbon emissions.

The government commissioned report criticizes computer climate modeling and also says that the US ground temperature data set, used to back up the man-made warming claims, is too myopic.

In the last month, no major Western media outlet has covered the report, which prompted British based sci-tech website The Register to commission a translation of the document.

Section one highlights the fact that Global Warming has ceased, noting that since 2001, the increase in global temperatures has halted, despite a continuing increase in CO2 emissions.

The report then states that the recent warming the planet has experienced is primarily a recovery from the so called “Little Ice Age” that occurred from around 1400 through to 1800, and is part of a natural cycle.

The researchers also conclude that global warming and the halting of the temperature rise are related to solar activity, a notion previously dismissed by the IPCC.

“The hypothesis that the majority of global warming can be ascribed to the Greenhouse Effect is mistaken.” the report’s introduction states.

Kanya Kusano, Program Director and Group Leader for the Earth Simulator at the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science & Technology (JAMSTEC) reiterates this point:

“[The IPCC's] conclusion that from now on atmospheric temperatures are likely to show a continuous, monotonic increase, should be perceived as an unprovable hypothesis,”

Shunichi Akasofu, head of the International Arctic Research Center in Alaska, cites historical data to challenge the claim that very recent temperatures represent an anomaly:

“We should be cautious, IPCC’s theory that atmospheric temperature has risen since 2000 in correspondence with CO2 is nothing but a hypothesis. ”

“Before anyone noticed, this hypothesis has been substituted for truth… The opinion that great disaster will really happen must be broken.” Akasofu concludes.

The key passages of the translated report can be found here.

The conclusions within the report dovetail with those of hundreds of Western scientists, who have been derided and even compared with holocaust deniers for challenging the so called “consensus” on global warming.

The total lack of exposure that this major report has received is another example of how skewed coverage of climate change is toward one set of hypotheses.

This serves the agenda to deliberately whip up mass hysteria on behalf of governments who are all too eager to introduce draconian taxation and control measures that won’t do anything to combat any form of warming, whether you believe it to be natural or man-made.

Obama’s War Machine Needs $800 Billion For 2009

Obamas War Machine Needs $800 Billion For 2009 260209top

Barack Obama’s election promise to bring “change” to Washington and reverse the juggernaut of the Bush war machine has proven to be nothing more than a cruel hoax, emphasized by his recent actions on Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq and his latest demand for a total of around $800 billion in war funds and subsidiary costs just to cover the rest of 2009.

“According to the US defense officials, Obama needs USD 75.5 billion for 2009 to cover the cost of the additional troops deployed in to Afghanistan this year and an another USD 130 billion for the rest of fiscal 2009,” reports Press TV.

An additional $534 billion is required for the Defense Department, added to another figure of $65.9 billion that has already been approved by Congress, bringing the total figure to over $805 billion dollars.

As Wikipedia states, “The military budget is that portion of the United States discretionary federal budget that is allocated to the Department of Defense. This military budget pays the salaries, training, and healthcare of uniformed and civilian personnel, maintains arms, equipment and facilities, funds operations, and develops and buys new equipment. The budget funds all branches of the U.S. military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.”

We can be assured that the vast majority of the $805 billion is going into the war chest because seperate programs such as nuclear weapons research, maintenance and production are included in the Department of Energy budget. Every single component bar one of the DoD budget is up 5-10% compared to 2008, with the budget for “military construction” increasing by a whopping 19.1%.

The most expensive programs in the DoD budget are things like missile defense, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and the F-22 Raptor, as well as the DDG 1000 Destroyer, the F/A-18E/F Hornet and the V-22 Osprey. These are all war-related programs, so mainstream media reports that a mere $200 billion war chest is being demanded do not include the cost of any of these programs which form part of the $500 billion-plus DoD budget.

The demand to refill the war coffers arrives in the same month as Obama’s announcement to send at least 17,000, and eventually perhaps as many as 30,000, extra troops to Afghanistan - over seven years after the U.S. invaded in 2001.

Obama has also recently beefed the U.S. military role in Pakistan beyond that pursued by the Bush administration and “expanded the covert war run by the Central Intelligence Agency inside Pakistan,” according to the New York TImes, with an increase in missile attacks by drone aircraft.

All this within just one month of Obama’s inauguration on the back of an election campaign won on the basis of changing the warmongering policies of the Bush administration!

Meanwhile, despite public pronouncements by Obama that a plan to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq is in progress, the details of the agreement actually establish a permanent presence of a sizable occupying force in perpetuity.

Despite his pre-election promises it’s interesting to note that the new WhiteHouse.gov website, in the “foreign policy” section, contains nothing whatsoever about Obama’s plans for Iraq. That’s probably because he will simply be following the exact same course undertaken by the Bush administration in publicly stating an intention for withdrawal while privately ensuring that tens of thousands of U.S. troops will remain in Iraq in perpetuity for the reason they were sent there in the first place - to safeguard a U.S. geopolitical foothold in the middle east and maintain control over whatever puppet government is installed.

As Chris Floyd points out in his article today, “The hypocrisy – the literally murderous hypocrisy – of claiming that this plan “leaves Iraq to its people and responsibly ends this war,” as Obama asserted in his State of the Union speech, is sickening. It does no such thing, and he knows it.”

In reality, after the “withdrawal” of U.S. troops in 19 months, “Mr. Obama plans to leave behind a “residual force” of tens of thousands of troops to continue training Iraqi security forces, hunt down foreign terrorist cells and guard American institutions,” reported the New York Times.

A senior military officer spelled it out more plainly to the Los Angeles TImes, “‘When President Obama said we were going to get out within 16 months, some people heard, ‘get out,’ and everyone’s gone. But that is not going to happen,’ the officer said.”

“By implementing his war continuation plan, Obama will complete the work of Bush and his militarist clique,” writes Floyd, and in doing so send, “an apparently endless stream of American troops to die — and, in even greater numbers, to kill — in a criminal action that has helped bankrupt our own country while sending waves of violent instability and extremism around the world. It will further enfilth a cesspool of corruption and war profiteering that has already reached staggering, world-historical proportions.”

The ultimate course for Iraq is something closer to what Obama’s presidential rival John McCain conceded - that U.S. troops will remain in the country for 100 years and probably beyond, long after Barack Obama leaves the White House and long after his empty mantra of “change” washes away like a footprint in the sand.

Lawmaker Warns Of “Forced Servitude” Under Obama

Lawmaker Warns Of Forced Servitude Under Obama 240209top

New Hampshire state representative Dan Itse, who is one of many lawmakers leading the charge to assert state sovereignty against federal encroachment, has warned that the Obama administration seeks to institute “involuntary servitude”.

Appearing on Fox News to discuss the states’ rights movement, Itse told hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, “This is about drawing a line in the sand and saying we’ve tolerated usurpations for so long but we’re not going to tolerate you violating the constitution, we’re going to hold you accountable.”

Asked if his warning about involuntary servitude under Obama meant young people being forced to attend community service, Itse responded, “Exactly, I mean, if you are required to do a job against your will with a pay scale not set by you or not agreed to by you, that’s involuntary servitude.”

Despite denials that Obama plans to institute a mandatory program of national service, his original change.gov website stated that Americans would be “required” to complete “50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year”. The text was only later changed to state that Americans would be “encouraged” to undertake such programs.

In addition, Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, publicly stated his intention to help create “universal civil defense training” in 2006. Such fears were also stoked when Obama himself said that a “national civilian security force,” that is “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the U.S. military was required.

Itse cited the No Child Left Behind program as an example of the federal government encroaching on states’ rights.

“They dangle a dollar in front of us and we chase it like the donkey with a carrot on a stick but ultimately they are infringing upon our domestic policies in the states, manipulating our domestic policies and we need to stand up and say that’s not your job, that’s our job,” said Itse, adding that if enough states stood up to Washington then they would have to pay attention.

In response to increasing federal encroachment, a growing number of states have passed and proposed resolutions to assert the Tenth Amendment and the Bill of Rights of the Constitution.

Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

“This is about enforcing the constitution which states to the government, you’re not the boss of us, we’re the boss of you,” concluded the lawmaker.

I hate FOX News & I am not a huge fan of Glenn Beck......but Glenn sure is making sense lately. Things are going to get real bad. I hope everyone is preparing. Cut up your credit cards & buy storable food. Oh yeah & don't ever give up your guns.

Fox News hosts are known for viewing the world around them with alarm — but Glenn Beck goes far beyond most of his peers at Fox in his belief that the future looks "really bad."

In a visit Friday with the hosts of Fox & Friends, Beck even managed to terrify Gretchen Carlson beyond the degree to which she is normally capable of terrifying herself.

"What we are possibly looking at is something far worse than the Depression," Beck began. "We are in much greater debt as individuals. We don’t know how to grow our own food."

"We’re also looking at civil unrest all around the world," he continued. "You need to prepare. This is something that could be … really dangerous. … My hands, now, for the first time in my life, are shaking. … We’re running out of exit ramps here."

Beck’s greatest fear — which he suggests is shared by his friends in the military and the FBI — is clearly not the prospect of widespread poverty, hunger, or homelessness. Rather, it appears to be thenotion that worldwide civil unrest could precipitate a civil war between what he calls the "bubbas" and the United States government.

Laying out a convoluted scenario, Beck suggested that the military is preparing for a situation where "something happens down on the border. You’ve got the rancher who is protecting his land, people are starting to come over … there’s a shot fired, it ignites things. ATF, FBI come in and arrest that rancher. How many people are going to say, ‘Wait a minute. … You people knew this was going on and you did nothing to protect us.’"

At that point, Gretchen Carlson slid down and hid under the coffee table, saying, "Tell me when the world’s okay to come back out."

"I really hope you’re wrong," Steve Doocy added.

Urban Warfare Drills Linked To Coming Economic Rage

Urban Warfare Drills Linked To Coming Economic Rage 230209top

Urban warfare training drills are taking place across the country as top analysts as well as officials predict a potential “summer of rage” across Europe and America as civil unrest from the economic fallout builds.

Earlier this month, 150 U.S. troops from the U.S. Special Operations Command whizzed around the streets of New Orleans in military helicopters and even dropped bombs in what officials described as a “training event”.

An Iowa National Guard training exercise in Arcadia, Iowa, scheduled for April was originally billed as an “invasion” before public opposition caused the drill to be scaled back. The exercise included Guard troops patrolling streets, searching houses and confiscating firearms.

No less than 2,200 U.S. Marines were also involved in urban operations training in Richmond, VIrginia, throughout January, drills that involved landing troops in populated areas, allowing military pilots to “familiarize themselves with the area.”

Military choppers hovered precariously low over parking lots as citizens were acclimated to seeing active duty military assets engaged in law enforcement style activities.

Watch a clip filmed by a startled Richmond resident who wasn’t even aware that Marines were conducting drills due to scant forewarning on behalf of authorities and the media.

Video Link: www.youtube.com/watch

Are such drills really for the purpose of preparing troops for foreign combat zones? Undoubtedly - but other factors indicate that the drills may very well also be aimed at preparing troops for dealing with mass civil unrest as the economic crisis worsens.

There’s no question that U.S. authorities have been closely observing riots that have toppled governments in Iceland and Latvia and also threatened to do so in several other European countries. The fact that they have contingency plans in place to deal with such scenarios should they unfold in America cannot be disputed.

Indeed, before a media exposé forced them into a denial, Northcom revealed that one of the duties of at least 20,000 active duty troops that are being placed inside the United States would be dealing with “civil unrest and crowd control”.

Meanwhile, millions of dollars that were set aside as part of the so-called bailout have in fact been handed over to local police departments and spent on military tools like armored vehicles, unmanned aerial surveillance drones and high-powered firearms for SWAT teams.

In addition, with many predicting that Mexico is on the verge of collapse as a result of the economic crisis and the out of control drug war, Texas officials have already established contingency plans to deal with an influx of immigrants, a program that would only address “law enforcement concerns” and not humanitarian needs.

HR 645, otherwise known as the National Emergency Centers Establishment Act, would mandate the expansion of FEMA detention camps which would likely to be used to detain illegal immigrants as well as rioting American citizens.

The prospect of widespread rioting at some stage this year is a scenario feared by many.

Police in the UK are preparing for a “summer of rage” and mass protests against the mishandling of the economic crisis by the government.

The U.S. Army War College in November released a white paper called Known Unknowns: Unconventional ‘Strategic Shocks’ in Defense Strategy Development. The report warned that the military must be prepared for a “violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States,” which could be provoked by “unforeseen economic collapse,” “purposeful domestic resistance,” “pervasive public health emergencies” or “loss of functioning political and legal order.” The “widespread civil violence,” the document said, “would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security.”

Numerous other public figures, including Senator Christopher Dodd, leading economist Nouriel Roubini, top trend researcher Gerald Celente, the head of the International Monetary Fund, the head of the World Trade Organization, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, former national security director Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair have all warned of coming civil unrest and global instability.

Considering the expectancy for riots, it would be naive to dismiss the notion that the increasing amount of urban warfare drills taking place across the U.S. are not at least partially to prepare troops to undertake law enforcement duties should civil unrest as a consequence of the economic fallout threaten a collapse in social order.

Time for a muzzle

The online world of lies and rumor grows ever more vicious. Is it time to rethink free speech?

(Globe Staff Illustration / Greg Klee)

By Drake Bennett February 15, 2009

HERE ARE TWO stories about the Internet.

The week before last, the crippled economy coughed up a gift for picked-on college students across the country: It shut down Juicy Campus, a notorious website where campus gossips nationwide were invited to hold forth anonymously. “Just remember, keep it Juicy!” the home page had exhorted. Posters had duly obliged, and many students had found their social skills, weight, grooming habits, sexual orientation, and/or promiscuity to be the subject of gleefully vicious discussion by unseen online classmates. In a healthier economy, it’s unclear if anything could have closed down Juicy Campus - university administrators and even state prosecutors were eager to take it on, but had all but conceded that they had few legal options, and the website had been rapidly expanding the number of its member campuses.

And then there is this: Last month, someone posted a map showing the names, home locations, and occupations of thousands of people who gave money to support the passage of Proposition 8, the ballot initiative outlawing gay marriage in California. A number of these Proposition 8 supporters have since reported threatening e-mails and phone calls.

Speech now travels farther faster than the Founding Fathers - or the judges who created much of modern free speech law - could have dreamed. The Web has brought a new reach to the things we say about others, and created a vast potential audience for arguments that would once have unfolded in a single room or between two telephones. It has eaten away at the buffer that once separated public and private, making it possible to expose someone else’s intimate information to the world with a few keystrokes, or to take information that would formerly have been filed away in obscure public records and present it digestibly as a goad to collective political action.

One of the results has been the advent of a new culture of online heckling and shaming, and the rise of enormous cyber-posses motivated by social or political causes - or simple sadism.

Now, some legal scholars are beginning to argue that new technologies have changed the balance of power between the right to speak and the right to be left alone. At conferences, in law review articles, and, increasingly, in the courts, some lawyers are suggesting that the time has come to rethink some of the hallowed protections that the law gives speech in this country, especially if that speech is online. The proposals vary: Some focus on restricting material that can be posted online or how long it can stay there, others on whether we should be less willing to protect online anonymity. More ambitious schemes would have courts treat a person’s reputation as a form of property - something to be protected, traded, and even sold like any other property - or create a legally enforceable duty of confidentiality between friends like that which exists between doctors and their patients.

Jim Rogers: Abolish The IMF & World Bank

Veteran investor says Obama stimulus package only making economic crisis worse

Jim Rogers: Abolish The IMF & World Bank 160209top

In an interview with Sir David Frost on Al Jazeera television, veteran investor Jim Rogers pinned the blame for the economic crisis squarely at the feet of the Federal Reserve, and said that the World Bank and the IMF should be abolished, not given more power, if a recovery is to be made.

Rogers strongly slammed Obama’s stimulus package, pointing out that more good money was being thrown after bad, and that the bailouts were only making things worse. The veteran investor said that the U.S. was following the same disastrous policies as Japan in propping up companies that should be allowed to fail, and that the same consequences would be reaped as much as 20 years into the future.

“The way the system is supposed to work, when times like this come, the solid people, the competent people, take over the assets from the incompetent people and then you start over again from a sound base, this is what South Korea did, this is what Russia did, and they did fine. What they’re doing this time is they’re taking the assets away from the competent people and giving them to the incompetent people and saying now you compete with the competent people with their assets and their money - it’s terrible economics and it’s not going to work, it hasn’t worked before and it’s not going to work this time,” said Rogers.

Rogers said that price had to be paid for 15 years of excess, but that the crisis could have been overcome in two or three years had zombie companies and banks been allowed to go to the wall.

“The central bank in the United States, the Federal Reserve, would not let people fail,” said Rogers, pointing out that had former Fed chairman Alan Greenspan let Long Term Capital Management fail in 1998, both Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae and Lehman Brothers would still be in business, “because people would have taken such a hit, and so many people would have been fired, these bozos that were doing this sort of thing, that you would not have had these problems.”

“The way the system is supposed to work is when you make a mistake you go broke, he refused to let people go broke, he saved his friends and now we’re all having to pay for them,” added Rogers.

Asked if he had any respect for the World Bank and the IMF, Rogers responded, “Zero….the best thing that would happen would be if we could abolish the World Bank and the IMF, they were set up in 1945 and ‘46 with very sound goals and very sound aspirations - they have far far far left behind those aspirations and goals, they’re now run by people who do little more than take care of themselves….look at their projects and you would be mortified.”

In response to a question about what if any sectors would be profitable amidst the crash, Rogers advised people invested in stocks to “get yourself a tractor and learn how to farm”.

In this special extended feature, hip hop legend KRS-One, who has also lectured at Harvard and Yale, discusses what the election of Barack Obama means for America and warns that once the emotion of the event is put aside, black people and the country in general may be hugely disappointed by the "change" that will be offered, in that it will be nothing more than a continuation of the same globalist policies which ravaged the Constitution under Bush.

Note: The first few minutes shows KRS on stage, the sound quality is a bit poor so turn up the volume. After that the interview kicks in & the video & sound quality is perfect. Sit back take it in because it is extremely powerful & thought provoking. Please pay attention.

KRS-Ones says he stands with Alex Jones & 9/11 was an inside job....oh yeah & Obama is a puppet.

Economic Rescue Plan: More Debt, More Dollar Devaluation And More Government

featured-stories - Economic Rescue Plan: More Debt, More Dollar Devaluation And More Government

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s so called economic rescue plan, announced yesterday, has a three pronged approach to the financial crisis - more debt, more devaluation of the dollar and more government.

In addition to making several blatantly contradictory statements, Geithner revealed that the Treasury intends to stay routed to the same course of action that caused the crisis in the first instance and has since perpetuated and worsened it.

“I want to make clear that I am not here today to ask for more money,” Geithner told Senators during congressional testimony. But, later added, “this is going to be an expensive problem.”

The first prong of the “plan”, if it can be called that, will see the financial system flooded with $1.5 trillion, a vast portion of which will come from the Federal Reserve printing more money out of thin air. The inevitable devaluation of the Dollar that will follow this may be enough to force a complete collapse and spell the end of its reserve currency status.

Second, Geithner intends to spend between $250 and $500 billion of taxpayer money to buy up so called “bad assets” and putting them into a “bad bank”. Essentially this constitutes transferring vast amounts of spiraling debt from the books of the negligent and criminal bankers to those of the taxpayer. Does that sound like a good idea or a “bad” idea?

The third part of the “solution” involves a huge expansion of financing for consumer loans and bank lending programs through the Federal Reserve and the Treasury. Essentially offering more debt to the consumer in the shape of student loans, cars and credit cards to the tune of up to $1 trillion.

All of this, of course, facilitates a massive expansion of the role of the federal government in the financial system.

Geithner left consumers, investors and traders alike asking ‘what part of that plan constitutes a rescue?’

The stock market, propped up for weeks on the expectation that Washington would finally deliver a comprehensive rescue plan, dipped almost as soon as Mr. Geithner began speaking in the morning. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 382 points, or 4.6 percent, by the time the market closed, the New York Times reported.

Geithner chastised the Bush administration and his predecessor, Henry M. Paulson Jr. stating “Policy was always behind the curve, always chasing the escalating crisis… The emergency actions meant to provide confidence and reassurance too often added to public anxiety and to investor uncertainty.”

However, Geithner has critics struggling to find any significant difference between his “sweeping overhaul” rescue plan and the previous Treasury Secretary’s now much maligned TARP program, as he gave no specific details as to how the plan would work, offering only the same muddy generalizations that Paulson did three months ago.

“Many of us were looking forward to a plan that could be presented in a straightforward, clear and detailed way. Unfortunately, that is not what we received yesterday.” Republican Jeff Sessions of Alabama commented.

Geithner is very good at critiquing what went wrong in the last year, but just seems to be perpetuating it.” said Desmond Lachman, a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.

“If the problem America found itself in was too much debt, then how can adding more debt be helpful?” asked political analyst James Pinkerton from the New America Foundation in a Russia Today report.

“The idea of solving it by taking the same pirates who stole the first trillion dollars and saying here’s more money. You look up the word ‘corrupt’ in the dictionary and that’s what you see,” Pinkerton added.

Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich commented that “the government has become an engine for taking money from the people, from their pocketbooks and purses and accelerating it to the top.”

New World Order

Source:www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1877388 -2,00.html

In recent weeks, the world has been politely standing by and watching how things play out with the fiscal stimulus and latest bank-bailout plans in Washington. Yes, there's been some grumbling overseas about "buy American" provisions in the stimulus bill, but for the most part, officials elsewhere don't want to step on the toes of a new President to whom they are favorably disposed. They also don't want to endanger legislation that they hope will help jump-start the global economy.

Just wait a couple of months, though. Politicians from Beijing to Berlin to Brasília see the current crisis as the product of a messed-up global financial infrastructure dominated by the U.S., and they will soon be pushing for big changes--whether Americans like them or not.

All this will begin to gel on April 2, when the newish international organization known as the G-20--the leaders of 19 of the world's biggest national economies, plus the European Union--meets in London. An unofficial meeting has already taken place, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where G-20 officials (with the conspicuous exception of those from the U.S.) made speeches, conversed in the halls and gave a sense of the direction in which the world outside the U.S. wants to head. (Read TIME's special report on Davos 2009.)

The global discussion of the financial crisis is strikingly different from the one in the U.S. Here there's still something of a debate over whether the mess is the result of too much government interference in the housing market or too little government regulation of financial markets. In the rest of the world, that's no debate: inadequate and inconsistent financial regulation is uniformly blamed. What's more, a consensus seems to have emerged among the world's finance ministers and central-bank bosses that the chief underlying cause of the crisis was an unbalanced and out-of-control system of global capital flows in which some big-spender countries (namely the U.S.) ran up huge debts while big savers (China and India, for example) hoarded surpluses.

On the regulatory front, the path to a new global approach is pretty clear. Last spring the leaders of the G-7, a club of wealthy nations, agreed to create a "college of supervisors" to more closely coordinate regulation of multinational banks. The Group of Thirty, an influential organization of current and former central bankers and financial regulators, recommended in January that "systematically significant" financial institutions (those that are too big to fail) be identified in advance and subjected to higher capital requirements and tougher regulation. (See who's to blame for the financial crisis.)

Yet regulators around the world were already jointly setting bank-capital standards before the current crisis hit. A lot of good that did us. So there is also much talk about the need for a new architecture--"a new Bretton Woods" was a phrase that echoed around Davos--to rein in global financial flows.

Bretton Woods is the mountain resort in New Hampshire where in 1944 the Allied nations met--with the U.S. calling almost all the shots--to plan a postwar financial system. The Bretton Woods creations included the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and a quarter-century of fixed exchange rates built around a U.S. dollar that was linked to gold. The fixed exchange rates and gold standard unraveled in the 1970s, and ever since we've had a system in which the IMF occasionally steps in to help countries in currency crises (usually imposing harsh terms in the process) but exercises no real control over the global financial system.

After the emerging-market currency collapses of the late 1990s, in which IMF aid wasn't much help, the lesson that emerging economies such as China and India took was that they needed to build up gigantic reserves of U.S. dollars to protect their currencies. To build those reserves, they ran big trade surpluses, which were in turn enabled mainly by record trade deficits in the U.S., which were in turn enabled by massive borrowing from around the world. It was an extremely unbalanced financial ballet, and it has now come crashing to the ground.

In the view of many outside the U.S. (and some within), the only way to limit such excesses is through a bigger, more powerful IMF that can act as a central bank to the world--and knock heads when needed. While everybody agrees that this new IMF needs to be less dominated by the U.S. and Western Europe, things get controversial as soon as you go past voting rights. Should capital flows be restricted? Should there be limits on trade deficits and surpluses? Should the IMF be able to order around even the U.S.? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, global capitalism will have entered a new and dramatically less freewheeling era.

Along With Everything Else Taxpayers Stuck With Billions In Losses

Ponzi, plans, and plunder, no magic wand from the Fed, investigative ineptitude at the SEC, Fed wont reveal its holdings, credit delinquencies to record highs, jobless rates on the rise, massive budget imbalances, California worst off of all states.

Obama’s Political Payoff Plan

Bob Chapman
The International Forecaster

February 8, 2009

Obama’s stimulus plan, aka the Political Payoff Plan or PPP, together with the second half of the TARP, aka the Paulson Ponzi Plunder Plan or PPPP, will deliver a shot in the arm to our economy that will be both brief and shallow, sending us careening on our way to hyperinflation, which will deepen the depression we are already in by sending interest rates skyrocketing and killing off what little business activity remains. Interest rate swaps, with notional principal in the hundreds of trillions, will also implode at that time, administering the coup de grace to the world economy and financial system from which the Illuminati hope to form their one-world government, economy, currency, feudal society and religion.

The Illuminati may use the brief upsurge derived from the PPP and the PPPP as an opportunity to complete the Big Sting Two, where they dump their dollar-denominated paper assets in favor of tangible real assets via dark pools of liquidity and unregulated OTC markets out of the view of both regulators and the public, leaving all the non-insider sucker-dupes holding the bag full of the worthless fiat currency known as Federal Reserve notes (aka toilet paper) or paper assets denominated in such. Dollar surplus nations who are tight with the Illuminists will be allowed to go on a spending spree and join in on the fun by spending their once-sterilized dollars, and this will then very seriously aggravate an already deadly bout of hyperinflation. You won’t know about what these other nations are doing, however, because the Illuminist-controlled FTC no longer publishes figures about foreign investment in the US. How incredibly convenient.

When the Big Sting Two is set into motion, gold and silver will then go on a moon-shot, and if you don’t own any, you will be financially vaporized, and join the ranks of the other crispy critters who were too dumb to recognize that gold and silver are the only real money in this world. The Illuminati are certainly aware of this fact, as they all collectively own tens of thousands of tons of gold and silver, which they have looted from their own central banks by stealing it outright, like the Rockefellers’ likely looting of what is now an empty Fort Knox, or by purchasing it at bargain-basement prices, like the Rothschilds’ purchases from Gordon Brown’s big gold giveaway of the UK’s national gold reserves via planned and publicly announced auctions at the bottom of the market. The Illuminati have accumulated these tens of thousands of tons over many centuries. This is their failsafe money and their possible backing for a world currency. This is not a situation where, if you can’t beat them, then join them. This is a situation where you can beat them by joining them. If you send gold and silver to new heights before they can bail out of their paper assets, you will deal a serious blow to their plans for world government! Buy, baby, buy!!!

Our Treasury plans to borrow $493 billion in the first quarter versus a forecast of $368 billion.

Our new president believes our Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke, will wave his magic wand and with his genius will save our economy and financial world. Unfortunately, Mr. Obama doesn’t realize that the elitist goal is not to save our country, but to destroy it. Who in their right mind would even talk about using the printing press to save the financial system, or dumping money out of helicopters. Being cavalier should not be the province of an economist. Ben, in his speeches, conveniently forgets to tell listeners that he has increased the monetary base from $1 trillion to $3 trillion in just five months. He is a modern day Hercules, he is.

Needless to say such policy ignites hyperinflation, which in turn puts downward pressure on the dollar. The infusion of capital into the finance industry along with the increase in money and credit has not tempted banks to increase lending. That monetary base is huge, yet no credit expansion.

Soon inflation will accelerate and normally Mr. Bernanke would withdraw cash from the system, but he does not have that luxury this time, because of the continually downward pull of deflation and asset destruction. The implied safety of the dollar is already being questioned as we see both short and long-term interest rates rise. Once these rates rise higher tremendous pressure will be put on the dollar and borrowing costs will rise. These higher rates, as they rise, will attract lenders to some degree.

Money is never neutral. As it enters the system it increases demand for goods and services. Presently you have seen a large drop in retail sales. Can you imagine how large that drop would have really been if this onslaught of money and credit had not been created? This injection also creates malinvestment, which as the boom ends creates more terrible problems, as unemployment rises further, wages fall and the dollar comes under further pressure. These massive monetary injections distort the financial and economic structure making the final outcome much more devastating. Central bankers fool themselves into believing that they can control what they are doing when in fact they have no real control.

The big question is when will some foreign nations break ranks and become dollar sellers? We believe that will happen when Treasury sales fail and debt has to be monetized by the Fed. Then the panic will begin. This is why you have to be long gold and silver assets now, so you do not get left in the dust.

Harry Markopolos, a former money manager, who sought to convince regulators for 9 years that Bernard Madoff was a fraud, said the SEC suffers from investigative ineptitude. He is too kind. The SEC was in on it. They knew what was going on. They protected the fraud. They protect all the connecteded insiders. They only close down small brokerage firms, small brokers and newsletter writers. They knew all about Enron as well. These are the same people at the SEC and CFTC who refuse to uncover the manipulation of gold and silver.

Markopolis gave the SEC a beating they’ll never forget. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know what we know. If he did he could have tied it all together and put a red bow around it.

The FDIC just three months ago said that $40 billion would carry the fund from 2008 to 2013. Magically that figure has jumped to $100 billion.

Late payments on credit cards has topped record levels and defaults rose sharply to just below all-time highs last month as consumers struggled.

The latest report on China’s holdings for the end of 2008 are $900 billion in Treasury bonds and $600 billion in Agency bonds. They have another $150 in corporate bonds, $40 billion in US equities and $40 billion in short-term deposits. That is $1.72 trillion.

The US Treasury on Wednesday opened the floodgates of government bond issuance, revealing plans for a record debt sale in February and more frequent auctions in the months to come.

The announcement came amid growing fears about US government deficits and sent the yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note rising to 2.95 per cent, up from just over 2 per cent at the end of December.

The rise in Treasury yields has been pushing mortgage rates higher, complicating efforts to revive the economy. The US Federal Reserve said last week it was “prepared to” buy Treasuries if that would be a “particularly effective” way of reducing private borrowing costs.

The Treasury said it would sell $67bn (£46bn) in new securities next week, the largest ever quarterly refunding, beating the last peak in August 2003. It may also start monthly sales of all its benchmark Treasury securities.

At the end of February, the Treasury will start selling seven-year notes every month for the first time since the issue was discontinued in 1993. Sales of 30-year bonds will double to eight times a year and the Treasury will say in May whether the bond will be sold every month.

The Obama administration, aiming to overhaul the $700 billion financial-rescue program, is refocusing on an effort to guarantee illiquid assets against losses without taking them off banks’ balance sheets.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is skeptical of setting up a so-called bad bank to hold the toxic securities, an option that still may form part of the final package, people familiar with the matter said. Senator Charles Schumer yesterday said debt guarantees are becoming “a favorite choice” of options because a bad bank would be too costly.

The cost of President Barack Obama’s economic recovery plan is now above $900 billion after the Senate added money for medical research and tax breaks for car purchases. [We all know that eventual costs always greatly exceed original estimates.]

US taxpayers may be stuck with losses on $30 billion of Bear Stearns Cos. assets owned by the Federal Reserve even though the central bank has said otherwise, according to Robert A. Eisenbeis, Cumberland Associates Inc.’s chief monetary economist.

“There is no prospect for a profit on the assets,” Eisenbeis wrote in a report yesterday. “Losses are mounting.”

No wonder the Fed will not reveal its holdings! And how about all those TARP apologists braying that taxpayers would make money on the crappy paper that no one else wants!

The US Senate voted on Wednesday to soften a ”Buy American” plan in its $900bn stimulus bill after President Barack Obama expressed concern the original language could trigger a trade war. They are gutless.

Senators, on a voice vote, approved an amendment requiring that provisions that upset Canada, the European Union and other trading partners be ”applied in a manner consistent with US obligations under international agreements.”

Delinquencies on U.S. credit cards rose to record highs in January as the economic recession weakened consumers’ finances, Fitch Ratings said on Wednesday.

Payments at least 60 days late measured by a Fitch index rose 0.47 percentage point to 3.75 percent last month, after accelerating in the fourth quarter, Fitch said in a statement. The previous record was 3.73 percent in February 1997.

“U.S. consumers continue to struggle in the face of mounting pressures on multiple fronts, from employment to housing to net worth,” Michael Dean, a managing director at Fitch, said in the statement.

Concerns that the U.S. recession will deepen as foreclosures rise and businesses lay off thousands have sparked a flurry of unconventional moves to spur growth, including credit-easing measures that have already doubled the size of the Federal Reserve balance sheet to more than $2 trillion.

A Fed program to lend up to $200 billion to holders of ABS backed by new or recently issued consumer loans is expected by analysts to boost availability of loans for autos, education and credit card balances.

But rising delinquencies and charge-offs by credit card companies will hurt performance of asset-backed securities (ABS) supported by credit card receivables, Fitch said. But downgrades are seen limited in the near-term, it added.

Total charge-offs on prime, general purpose credit cards from the December collection period rose 0.66 percentage point to 7.5 percent, up 40 percent from a year earlier and the highest since bankruptcy reforms caused a spike in 2005, according to another Fitch index.

Fitch estimates charge-offs will near 9 percent by the second half of this year.

Retail store credit card delinquencies rose 0.12 percentage point to 5.2 percent, though the rate of increase has slowed for the second month. Charge-offs on retail cards were flat at 10.51 percent, 44 percent higher than a year earlier.

The unemployment rate climbed in nearly all of the biggest urban areas in the U.S. during December.

The U.S. Labor Department Wednesday said jobless rates rose in 363 of the 369 metropolitan areas compared to a year earlier.

Elkhart-Goshen, Ind., had the largest jobless rate increase from December 2007, up 10.6 percentage points to 15.3%. At second place, Dalton, Ga., rose 6.2 percentage points to 11.2%. Both areas were struck by manufacturing layoffs. On Friday, the Labor Department will release its January employment report; economists see the unemployment rate rising to 7.5% from 7.2% during December, with non-farm payrolls shrinking by 524,000 jobs.

The Institute for Supply Management said its non-manufacturing index came in at 42.9 in January compared with 40.1 in December.

The level of 50 separates expansion from contraction. The index dates back to July 1997.

Economists had expected a reading of 39.0, according to the median of 75 forecasts in a Reuters poll, which ranged from 37.0 to 44.0. The service sector represents about 80 percent of U.S. economic activity, including businesses such as banks, airlines, hotels and restaurants.

U.S. commercial property prices by institutional investors posted their greatest quarterly fall in 22 years, according to an index developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center for Real Estate.

The transaction-based index, which MIT developed in 1984, fell 10.6 percent in the fourth quarter, surpassing the record fall of 9 percent seen in the fourth quarter 1987.

The index tracks the prices that institutions such as pension funds pay or receive when buying or selling commercial properties like shopping malls, apartment complexes and office towers.

“It now seems likely that this down market will be at least as severe as that of the early 1990s for commercial property,” Professor David Geltner, director of research at the Center for Real Estate, said in a statement.

The index fell a record 15 percent in 2008, and easily surpassed the 9 percent decline seen in 1991 and the 10 percent drop in 1992.

That period marked one of the most severe recessions in commercial real estate recession and was the result of the savings and loan debacle and U.S. tax code changes in 1986.

The current downturn in commercial property is the result of the credit crisis, which has cut off debt financing for sales. The U.S. recession has also dealt a blow to commercial real estate returns, as business tenants cut staff and office needs, cut hotel demand, or close stores.

The index declined a total of 27 percent from 1987 through 1992, with most of the decline occurring in 1991 and 1992.

The index’s performance means that prices in institutional commercial property deals that closed during the fourth quarter for properties such as office buildings, warehouses and apartment complexes are now 22 percent below their peak values attained in the second quarter of 2007. The index has fallen in five of the past six quarters, but the recent drop is by far the steepest.

The MIT Center for Real Estate also compiles indexes that gauge movements on the demand side and the supply side of the market that it tracks.

The demand-side index, which tracks prices potential buyers are willing to pay, has fallen for the past six quarters, and is down 23 percent for the year and 31 percent since its mid-2007 peak.

California today was branded the worst credit risk of all 50 states, after Standard & Poor’s cut its rating on the state’s debt because of the budget impasse.

S&P lowered its rating on the state’s $46 billion in general obligation bonds to “A” from “A-plus,” citing “the state’s inability to reach an agreement on a mid-year budget revision and its rapidly eroding cash position.”

Until now, California and Louisiana had been tied for last place, at “A-plus,” on S&P’s state ratings list. Most states are rated either “AA” or “AAA.”

The volume of applications filed to refinance mortgages increased 15.8% last week compared with the week before, as applicants looked past higher mortgage rates, the Mortgage Bankers Association said Wednesday.

Applications for mortgages to purchase homes fell down a seasonally adjusted 11.2% for the week ended Jan. 30 as opposed to the previous week, according to the Washington-based MBA’s survey. It covers about half of all U.S. retail residential mortgage applications.

The combined volume of home-purchase and refinance applications rose a seasonally adjusted 8.6% on a week-to-week basis. The four-week moving average for all mortgages was down 9.2%.

Total application volume was down 26.9% on an unadjusted basis compared with the same week in 2008.

Refinancings made up 73.2% of the total applications filed last week, up from 72.8% the week before. Adjustable-rate mortgages accounted for 2.1% of applications, down from 2.4%.

Rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 5.28%, up from 5.22% the previous week, while the average on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages increased to 5.15% from 4.98%. The rates on fixed-rate mortgages had been little changed last week, following a dramatic move lower recently

Time Warner Cable Inc. says it is laying off 1,250 people over the next few weeks in the face of slowing growth at the nation’s second largest cable operator.

The Treasury Department is bringing back the seven-year note and doubling the number of its 30-year bond auctions as it works to handle a soaring budget deficit projected to top $1 trillion this year.

Treasury said yesterday it will begin auctioning seven-year notes once a month starting this month, and will auction 30-year bonds eight times annually, up from the current four per year. The last time the government needed to auction seven-year notes was in 1993.

The government also said it will auction $67 billion next week in three-year, 10-year, and 30-year Treasury securities, a record amount at a quarterly refunding.

The department on Monday said it will need to borrow $493 billion during the current January-March quarter, a record amount for this period. That borrowing estimate follows actual borrowing of $569 billion in the October-December period, the record high for any quarter.

The Congressional Budget Office is projecting the deficit for the current budget year will hit a record $1.19 trillion. That estimate does not include the cost of President Obama’s economic stimulus program, which is now above $900 billion in the measure being considered in the Senate.

Wall Street bond traders expect the total deficit for this year will hit $1.63 trillion. The estimates for this year are far above last year’s $454.8 billion imbalance, the largest-ever annual deficit. The deficit for the first three months of this budget year, which began Oct. 1, totaled $485.2 billion, already higher than last year’s record.

The deficit is ballooning because of the increased government spending to combat the worst financial crisis to hit the country since the 1930s and a recession that is already the longest in a quarter-century.

Faith-Based and Unconstitutional

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars
February 8, 1009

On February 6, the blog section of the White House website announced a recent executive order signed by Obama establishing the new White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. “Instead of driving us apart, our very beliefs can bring us together,” Obama said on February 5 during the National Prayer Breakfast. “E pluribus unum, in other words,” the blog declared.

Link to video from the Whitehouse youtube channel:www.youtube.com/watch

“Whether it’s connecting groups that are training people to do new jobs, or figuring out the role of faith-based organizations in combating global climate change, this office creates those partnerships in a way that’s responsible, constitutional, and — bottom line — helps those in need,” said Joshua DuBois, a Pentecostal pastor, social activist, and former campaign religious outreach director who was appointed to lead Obama’s faith-based initiative.

Mr. DuBois is apparently unaware of what the father of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, James Madison, had to say about such efforts.

On February 21, 1811, Madison argued against an effort by the House of Representatives to incorporate the Protestant Episcopal Church in the town of Alexandria, in the District of Columbia. Madison objected to the bill because it exceeded “the rightful authority to which governments are limited by the essential distinction between civil and religious functions, and violates in particular the article of the Constitution of the United States which declares that ‘Congress shall make no law respecting a religious establishment’… Because the bill vests in the said incorporated church an authority to provide for the support of the poor and the education of poor children of the same, an authority which, being altogether superfluous if the provision is to be the result of pious charity, would be a precedent for giving to religious societies as such a legal agency in carrying into effect a public and civil duty.” (Emphasis added.)

In a more general sense, no matter how worthwhile an end may be, if there is no constitutional authority to pursue it, then the federal government must step aside and leave the matter to the states or to private parties, as Robert A. Levy notes.

Obama’s executive order will extend by fiat to private religious organizations (see the list on the White House blog) the sort of “legal agency” Madison argued violates the spirit and letter of the Constitution. The job of “training people to do new jobs” or “combating global climate change” are not federal functions enumerated in the Constitution.

Obama’s Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships has nothing to do with jobs or climate change. It is simply another heavy-handed effort to insert the federal government in the lives of the American people.

Ronald Reagan may have betrayed the ideals of liberty and small government he claimed to profess, but he did say something that is particularly relevant to Obama’s latest effort to have the feds meddle in our lives: “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

State Brainwashing Children To “Re-Educate” Their Parents For Green Dictatorship

State Brainwashing Children To Re-Educate Their Parents For Green Dictatorship 050209top

A massive program with its tentacles embedded into almost every corner of education and popular culture is underway to use the “green” agenda to brainwash children and turn them against their own parents, as the state moves towards the creation of a Stasi-style informant society using methods that have been repeated in every totalitarian state throughout history.

The controversy surrounding Al Gore’s comments during a speech at the University of Maryland Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference, during which he pitted children against their parents by telling them they “know more” about global warming, is merely the tip of the iceberg of a top-down movement that is mimicking a technique that dictatorships have practiced throughout history - the exploitation and brainwashing of children to turn them into Maoist, Stasi, Hitler Youth-style informants and enforcers against their own family and community.

Talking head Glenn Beck was spooked about the historical legacy that Gore is following in brainwashing kids to assume an adversarial position against their own parents in the interests of the state.

“I’m trying to think where else this has been done – Soviet Russia, Nazi, Germany, Mussolini’s Italy,” Beck said. “In fact, the Nazis took an extra step. Not only did they indoctrinate the kids and tell them you’re probably right, you know but your parents don’t; in fact, here’s the next step: Why don’t you tell us what your parents are telling you. Are we having the new Hitler youth? Is that what this is? The new Hitler youth? I’m sorry, that’s so politically incorrect – the new green guard. Man your station, 12-year-olds, your parents just don’t know.”

Beck’s warning is right on the mark - in almost every dictatorship throughout history the state has seized the minds of children and turned them against their own family and communities as a means of building a police state and forcing adults to self-regulate their own behavior and political speech for fear that their misdeeds might be reported to interested authorities by the child spies

The secret police of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu recruited thousands of children aged 12-14 to spy on their schoolfriends, parents and teachers, according to recently uncovered communist-era archives. At the height of the dictatorship, a staggering 15 per cent of the country’s informants were children. They were encouraged to report anyone who expressed a political opinion contrary to the status quo or those who merely made a joke of Ceausescu.

Tellingly, we learn that,” The secret police targeted intelligent and sporty children, whose participation in teams and clubs gave them access to many teachers, other children and their parents.” These are exactly the kind of kids being targeted in the U.S. and UK today to browbeat their parents into conforming to the green agenda.

Frank Furedi, professor of sociology at the University of Kent, offers another parallel. “Mobilising children to police their parents’ behaviour used to be something you only found in totalitarian societies. I grew up in Eastern Bloc Hungary and I remember children being encouraged to tell teachers if their parents listened to rock’n’roll.”

“It’s as though the politicians are saying: ‘The parents won’t change fast enough, let’s get the children’,” he says.

We even have a literary warning about where this kind of thing leads. In George Orwell’s acclaimed dystopia 1984, children are recruited to spy on their own parents and report any suspicious or unapproved of behavior to Party authorities.

As Brendan O’Neill writes in his excellent Spectator article, As Orwell Warned, Children Now Spy on Adults, “It is the mark of a truly authoritarian regime to recruit children to nag out-of-tune parents or to spy on disobedient citizens. A writer for the Guardian celebrates eco-pester power on the basis that children make ‘natural campaigners — no shades of grey, no nuanced arguments, just loads of passion and clarity’. Yes, and that is also why ruthless governments, from the Soviets to Chairman Mao, cultivated zealous little police-kids: because childish minds are easily moulded to accept political orthodoxies. In Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four it was ‘almost normal for people over 30 to be frightened of their own children’ because they were ‘ungovernable little savages’ who spied for the Party. Before we become scared of our kids, too — as they patrol our homes, speak to us from CCTV cameras, or squeal on us to councils — I suggest dealing with this politicised pester power in the same way my mum dealt with my childish demands: by administering a collective clip around the lughole to the Child Spies.”

A London Observer article, which all but triumphs children spying on and chastising their parents for claimed “eco-crimes,” betrays the absurdity and mindlessness of how these scenarios are being played out.

Ominously entitled, “Green children re-educate their parents,” the writer describes how his five-year-old daughter was angrily filing through his passport, before issuing a firm rebuke about how many times her father had traveled to America.

“How many times have you been on a plane to America?” asks the child.

“About 40,” her father responds.

“And how many trees have you planted?”

“No trees.”

“I’m going to tell Miss White.”

The absurd irony of course is that the daughter threatens to inform on her father to the teacher for the “eco-crime” of contributing towards CO2 emissions and not planting trees, when in fact trees absorb CO2 and would die out completely if this “poison” was eliminated from the earth.

The writer relates how his child has begun to “spout eco policy with exquisite fervour and zealotry” and how he is regularly confronted and lectured by her about low-energy light bulbs, plastic bags and plane journeys.

“I have begun to feel there are larger forces at work,” he writes. “I suspect I am a pawn in a covert re-education programme. I fear “pester power” is being organised to leverage pro-environmental awareness in parents - we are being bullied by a generation of pint-sized “eco-worriers”.

We learn of a similar scenario in a New York Times article entitled, Pint-Size Eco-Police, Making Parents Proud and Sometimes Crazy, where a “growing army of “eco-kids” — steeped in environmentalism at school, in houses of worship, through scouting and even via popular culture…. try to hold their parents accountable at home.”

The story relates how TV network Nickelodeon, Pixar movies like Wall-E and even organizations like the Girl Scouts (remember who the secret police targeted for recruitment in totalitarian Romania?) are all playing their part to re-educate the army of “eco-kids” who in turn are tasked with re-educating their parents. Groups like the Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation are training teachers across the country to dole out the propaganda as it becomes permanently embedded in school curriculums.

Energy giant NPower is lavishing huge sums in advertising expenses to drive its “Climate Cops” campaign, in children are encouraged to sign up as “climate cops” and keep “climate crime case files” on their families, friends and neighbors.

“Report back to your family to make sure they don’t commit those crimes again (or else)!” one section states, before reminding recruits to keep a watchful eye on parents and even extend their web further. “What about the homes of aunts and uncles, or friends from school?” it suggests.

In the UK, we find that, “Children are being offered money by councils to spy on neighbors and report petty offences such as ‘bin crimes’ and dog-fouling.”

5,000 children labeled “Junior Streetwatchers” have been bribed with payments of up to £500 to provide names, license plate numbers and photographs of their neighbors engaged in “environmental crimes”.

We can only expect such programs to be replicated in the U.S. with the promise from the Obama administration that millions of “green jobs” are to be created to enforce drastic measures to cut CO2 emissions by 80 per cent.

How many of Obama’s promised “national civilian security force,” a cadre we are guaranteed will be as strong or stronger than the U.S. Army, will be assigned to spy on their neighbors for enviro-crimes and report them to the local green commissariat?

The overall scope of this agenda is truly horrifying. In the space of under a decade, the entire educational system in the U.S. and the UK has been overhauled and poisoned with mandatory re-education about the perils of man-made global warming, despite the fact that the legitimacy of the subject is being discredited on a daily basis by overwhelming evidence that the earth has now entered a natural cooling phase in correlation with the recent dearth of sunspot activity.

Popular culture, children’s movies, TV commercials, video games and more are also playing a key role in warping the minds of both children and adults alike to passively accept the drumbeat of climate propaganda while all the real environmental threats go almost completely ignored.

Now that the brainwashing program is firmly embedded in education and society, the next phase has begun - the exploitation of children as a tool of behavioral enforcement, acting as the eyes and ears of big brother, chomping at the bit with zealous indignation to perform their duty of “re-educating” their own parents and threatening to inform on them if they do not properly comply with the dictates of green totalitarianism.
