Obamatized
The American people sure were dooped this year. You see, we got exactly what they wanted. We were given two main choices for President, both of which would (and will) ruin our country. McCain was the lesser of two evils, if you're going to play that game. But, mark my word, he would still be evil. Choosing McCain would only slightly delay the trouble our country will be in now that Obama will be our next President. People need to understand why Obama is dangerous to our freedoms. He is connected to Islam, Jews, anti-Americans, and terrorists. You can gain a pretty good idea about a person by the people he admires and befriends. As much as many intellectuals would like to deny it, they know it's true. So why did this not matter when it came to Obama? People were so blinded by his race. This is all it boils down to. He didn't present any policy that would be beneficial. His proposals are preposterous. But he said a lot of pretty things that didn't mean anything, and people voted for him. They voted for him because they wanted to make history. Wow, the first black president. I am fine with a black president, but not an outright socialist. Put white skin on Obama and I'd feel the same way. He would still be an anti-American socialist scumbag. The American voters let race decide this time. It's funny that we like to think we're past race, but look what it's gotten us. Get back to principles. Vote on principle. Why is this so hard? Lets make history the right way. Let's keep a close eye on Obama. George W has built up the Executive office to a point where Obama will have more power than probably any other president. We need to start holding our presidents accountable for their unconstitutional actions. Obama will take an oath in January to defend and uphold the constitution. The moment he betrays that oath, we need to do everything in our power to remove him from office. If he performs constitutionally, than I will support him and vote for him in 2012. But I'm not an idiot, so I know that won't happen. Get ready you guys. Don't get Obamatized. 6 comments from 5 users

What scares me is that Obama was so obviously socialist towards the end of the campaign. He was outright calling for redistribution of wealth, and suggesting that the founding fathers and supreme court essentially have forgotten to address the issue. Maybe they haven't addressed it, I'm not sure, but I know just as well as any reasonable person that the founding fathers knew that redistribution of wealth was not acceptable. It isn't just, fair, or logical. I'm sure it sounds great to people who don't want to try and become something, or who don't want to have to worry about making money, but it is not right. I'm scared of Obama. I'm like you, totally freaked about what could happen to our country once he's sworn in. posted by

I agree! Rather than waiting until it would take longer to get them out of office, than it does to get to the next election, we need to exercise impeachment immediately upon him proving all those skeptics right, should that happen. The decider (GW) has caused enough problems for our country. posted by

Impeach him for what? We have a president that may have lied to the public to go to war and you want to impeach a guy that hasn't even been sworn in yet? posted by

jfrancais, read it again! "IF"! We are a nation of laws, or supposedly so. Bush went ahead with signing to things he had no right to without congressional approval. To be honest I worry about what else the decider will do before the next 60 days are up. We don't need another decider in office. I wouldn't care if it were McCain or Obama, the next President that enacts things without proper approval needs to be removed from office. ASAP! I do feel that both Republicans, and Democrats are in the same bed. Bush was given way to much rope. WHY did the Democrats chose not to impeach him. HMMM! posted by

Some tried, but it was a divided Congress. Why did the Republicans not impeach him? hmmm....maybe because the impeachment of a President is a painful time in history. Those ducks better be lined up all in a row before the process gets started. posted by

Impeachment sets a very dangerous precedent for presidents to come. I doubt many want to open that can of worms and then have to live up to it.
