Anything is Possible: The Magic of Chris Lopez
It was a huge crowd at this fun evening of magic at the Beale Memorial Library on June 11th! Magician extraordinaire Christopher Lopez visited our Children's Summer Reading Program as part of his 2009 Anything is Possible Tour. It was truly an amazing show, and some lucky audience members even got in on the magic! Chris has done many shows for our libraries over the years, and everyone always has a great time. He has a way of combining dramatic magic with a sly sense of humor that is perennially entertaining. You can see more photos of the program here. This was only our first big program of the summer, so visit your nearest library or go to the Kern County Library website to see all the fantastic events we have lined up! Be Creative @ Your Library this Summer! Don't forget to sign up and get a reading log so you can start earning your free book! If you missed his library shows or want to see Chris again, check this out: "An Evening of Magic"
