Real families struggle with mortgages

Today Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's task force on nontraditonal mortgages launched radio announcments meant to help people struggling with payments learn about ways to keep their homes.

It's known as the 90 Days of Hope campaign.

You can listen to them in English and Spanish.

Here's a summary from the task force's press people:

"Real California Family features the Shields Family of Stockton. John and Kelly Shields outline their journey working with a counselor and eventually finding a solution to keep their home.

Real California Dream features Kelly Shields alone sharing her experiences as a mother who strives to live the California dream by keeping her home and raising her family.

Real California Hope is recorded in Spanish and features Secretary Rosario Marin calling upon California’s homeowners to take action to save their homes to reduce effects of the housing crisis on California’s economy."
