Kern unemployment at 13.9 percent in September
From the Employment Development Department this morning: The unemployment rate in Kern County was 13.9 percent in September 2009, down from a revised 14.4 percent in August 2009, and above the year-ago estimate of 9.1 percent. This compares with an unadjusted unemployment rate of 12.0 percent for California and 9.5 percent for the nation during the same period. 0 comments from 0 users
