Fred Thompson Speaks Out

If you've wanted to know what Fred's thought are, watch the video on this link.  Since it's on Fox News and features a conservative I can hear the howls already.  Check it out anyway.  Lots of links and articles too.

I'm waiting until the Federal Election Commission investigation is completed.

Thompson,

Speaks logically. Until he gets to Iraq and immigration.

He intends to stick to the Bush plan in both cases. Both of those policies are failures.

He also has a dishonest look about him as he speaks.

It's in his eyes. It's the way he purses his lips..

He failed to speak on health care. Most likely the most important unsettled issue for the 2008 elections.

And his past would indicate that he would favor Corporatism over National Security.

We don't need another Acting President.

My parents raised their children to know the difference between right and wrong..to respect others..that lying, cheating, stealing, swindling are not the things to do if one was going to get ahead in life. But these ARE the qualifications that one needs if they want to succeed in business/politics..all their talk is cheap..what we need to see as a people is action. Please start taking care of America first-then go kiss those rears in other countries.

Heck Nanc, nobody has to howl about conservative hypocrisy, they just need to post headlines...

In the interview the tag at the bottom that popped up stated he's a "Film and Television Star"....nothing about him being a  politician.  Yeah, I know, I know, he hasn't announced yet....RF has it right, we don't need another acting president.

He was a stoolpigeon for Richard Nixon.  I need to know nothing else about the man to know I must look elsewhere for integrity.

Looks like I'll have to keep my never-have-never-will-vote-for-an-actor slate clean.

Any objections to Chuck Norris then?  He did save all our MIA's and stop those terrorists, after all . . .

We already know he disliked being a Senator, and publicly stated so upon leaving office.  We already know he is eminently qualified  to read a scripted set of pages describing what his handlers, and the nation's real rulers, want him to say. We already know he is old, in ill health and a wishy-washy guy who can't seem to make up his own mind, but has no problem spouting tired rhetoric from extreme elements in the Republican Party.

I'd just love to see him run so that accusations that the chosen Democratic candidate "lacks experience" can finally be put to rest.

My objections to Chuck Norris are entirely religious.  How 'bout Stallone instead?  He could hold his inaugural dinner at Taco Bell.

No thanks Random. I've had my fill of Presidents who have speaking impediments......

As predicted...there y'all are.  Tis ok tho, up til now no one had much bad to say about Fred because they probably didn't see him as a threat.    As his popularity grows so will the mudslinging.

Fess up you guys..you wouldn't have voted for him anyway since he's a conservative.  Who're ya kidding?  :-)

I never voted for George W. Bush either, Nancy, and *HE'S* no conservative.

But he was supposed to be.  :-)

Chuck Norris is an actor???

I dunno Nancy, I could vote for a conservative. Just not the current description of one. I mean one that spends our money wisely. Not one that cuts the taxes for the rich, then spends all the middle classe's money on bullcrap. And..... at least Fred can put a sentence together without it looking like an out take from Slingblade. LOL

Enjoy your lunch!!! There's no place like home.....there's no place like home...
