I think McCain should choose Hillary.

I couldn't help it.  However, to make it fair, I also shop at Sams.. well, here I shop at Costco, and Target.. and even occasionally Walmart if I have no other choice.

There.. that makes it a little better.

C'mon now FSG, we have a Sams Club too...fess up.  You just want to look elite now.  ;-)

Witbee, wouldn't THAT be a hoot?

Nancy - I wish I could say I go down to Pasadena (my old stomping grounds when I first moved to CA 2 years ago) and shop at the ritzy stores on Colorado Blvd or Lake Ave such as Crate & Barrel.. but I'm just a poor recent college grad trying to support both himself and his wife one his salary alone.

"We must be the party of Sam's Club Republicans, not just country club Republicans," he continued."

He got that part right even if it is a blatant plug for one of McCain's big corporate donors.  There's a lot to like about this guy, but maybe I'm one of those people who actually does care about the bottom of the ticket, in contrast to what the article say (or dismisses). By comparison, this guy is idea because he fits the moderate Democrat idea of being "not Cheney" very well. He's not hooked up with Halliburton or the oil companies and is actually more a "common folk" type of guy that appeals to me. I'd say he's lagging on VP credentials, however, and that's important in case McCain were to konk. We'd need someone with some international experience and I really didn't see anything mentioned about that area for this fellow.

FSG, I was razzing you about going to Costco instead of Sams here in town.  Sams had that WM connection that some ot the "elite" disdain.  Costco is ok, Sams is WM big box.

(I don't go to either but if I did it would be Costco because it's way closer.)
