Noone...considering one game a while back was standing room only I'd say they have a fan or two We're a Ryan Mathews fan, or at least I am. Not much of a football fan of any kind..just like the watch the boy and hoping he'll get to play tonight after his injury.. CRAP...San Jose just scored on a recovered ball. posted by

aaawwwwwwwwwwww I'm sorry Nancy :-( I've been watching but may have to change channel as I was watching to see Ryan. The announcers did mention he was not playing. darn. Maybe for the last game he can play. posted by

I'm about to change channels too Witters. Even without Ryan I was willing to sit through it but I've had about enough of the turnovers..(this ain't Marthas kitchen), screwups all over and they announed the Bulldogs are 100 and something in the NATION for defense. Even I know the offense can't carry the whole game. And tonight neither are carrying anything..not even their own weight. Poop! posted by

That was a sad boring game. The team is truly pitiful this year! Brandstater has underwhlemed as a QB and a leader. They have great skill players on offense but no one there to get them the ball. An offense is quite predictable when it can't pass. Ryan makes that team go and it's obvious when he's hurt or not playing. I hope with one of the QBs next year (Carr or Feathers) they be able to put up a few more points. Defensively, they need bigger lineman (DTs) to get penetration on passing downs and to plug holes on running plays. posted by

I gave it up at halftime. I've seen better high school games than that one. We've been harping on the defense but it was pretty sad hearing the announcers talking about them being ranked 100 and something in the nation. Mark's been saying all along that Brandstater was over rated and he was sure vindcated last night. I did get a chuckle when one of the announcers said Hill was giving Brandstater the fish eye after a really sorry play. Ah well, onward and upward. I just checked the final score (shows you my disinterest) and maybe I should have stick around for the second half. Nahhhhh... maybe next week. Maybe they'll be able to use Ryan...their gonna need him bad. posted by

You would think a QB would at least not hurt the team if he has been in the program for 6 years (that's right, 6). Pat should just play him sparingly and put in Faulkner to let him get some PT. There is no reason to continue to play him. He couldn't even do the hand offs properly. I get tired of football people being awed by prototypes. Even though he's 6-2 and 220, he would not play at any other DI school. Two years ago he competed with Norton for the job and the other guy lost out because he was 5-9, 180lbs. He ended up transfering.
