Too Old For Trick or Treat?

You know you are too old to Trick or Treat when:
10. You get winded from knocking on the door.
9. You have to have another kid chew the candy for you.
8. You ask for high fiber candy only.
7. When someone drops a candy bar in your bag,
you lose your balance and fall over.
6. People say: "Great Boris Karloff Mask,"
And you're not wearing a mask.
5. When the door opens you yell, "Trick or..."
And can't remember the rest.
4. By the end of the night, you have a bag
full of restraining orders.
3. You have to carefully choose a costume that
won't dislodge your hairpiece.
2. You're the only Power Ranger in the
neighborhood with a walker.
And the number one reason Seniors should not go Trick Or Treating...
*
*
*
1. You keep having to go home to pee.
No matter, have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN anyway.

Never -- It's all I can do to get up and go to the door for the little darlings.  It's a whole bunch safer that way.

(Actually, it my part of the world, trick-r-treat time is all over.  It was designated from 6:00 until 8:00, and it's now 8:20.  Yea!.)

What they left, well, they've left it for me.  YEA!

I'd say you're too old for trick-or-treating when you're wearing high heels with your costume.  Just an idea.

Still, I'll give candy to anybody that shows up at my door because if they don't eat it WE will, and we don't need it.

I grudgingly hand out to teens but the adults???  Nahh.  And don't bring a 4 month old to my door trick or treating..we all know who gets THAT candy.

C'mon people,  It's a KIDS candy night.

I was a halloween grinch this year and didn't buy any candy.  I turned the lights out and hibernated.  Not that I needed to, my entire neighborhood was dark.  With 3 empty houses and the rest with lights off, no kids even ventured down this street.  The lady across the street hung a sign on her porch post then went in and turned the lights off.  I was itchint to see what it said..lol.

I'm a halloween scrooge, myself, but I decided to do the daddy thing and took my kids trick or treating on the base.  I made sure my kids knocked on the Generals' and Sergeants Major's doors to get the good candy.

If I had kids I'd have done the candy thing but since I don't and neither do any of the neighbors within about 5 houses in any direction I didn't bother.  Truly, as dark as this street was the kids could have used it to scare each other.

The funny thing was, I found I missed it.  I must have been running a fever.
