Let's get it started!

Matches have already started, and it's already a madhouse at Rabobank Arena.

With 10 matches going on simultaneously, it's quite a spectacle. Keeping up with our local kids has been a challenge in of itself.

Zach and I are perched near section 110, and have a great view of mats 6 and 7. After that, we'll left looking for familiar singlets, and hoping to hear any hint of local teams over the announcements.

Hopefully, we'll have a better handle of this monstrosity in the coming minutes.

I caught part of Frank's first-round match at 130. He was ahead 8-0 going into the third period, so that looks like good news for you. I don't think there's a way to watch on the internet until tomorrow's semifinals.

I went down there but didn't see "The Mummy", Freddy Blasie, or even Mil Mascaras.

No midgets. No capes. Nothing!

No Atomic Piledrivers, Hijo de tu Chingara's, no Ultimo Paso Doble Suplexes, no nothing esse!

I came home. Vastly disappointed......

ChicoEsquela,

Wrestling fans know you're lying, because if you'd actually showed up, you'd be hooked.

Actually Zach I love high school and collegiate wrestling

I was funnin' with ya

I suspect you might have figured that out though..............

Sometime we'll talk  "real" wrestling, we probably know a lot of the same Valley wrestlers, past and present.

You might even have been on the mat with a few  ;=)

BTW, ever see the movie "Vision Quest" with Mathew Modine? Its one of the better wrestling movies I've seen. You might like it!
