Day 13 without the Constitution
Thirteen days after Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama was sworn into office, I'm still mourning the loss of the Republic. Aren't you? Or are you, too, just going along with the tide of those blindly putting their faith into the notion that The One is above reproach? Thomas Jefferson: "Put not your faith in men, but bind them down with the chains of the constitution." Amen, brother, amen! Alan Keyes: The elites insist that we should pretend to be convinced by an exhibition of a "certificate of live birth" via the Internet, lacking the very information the Constitution requires. On the strength of this we are to exercise blind faith and risk the consequences of an unconstitutional usurpation of the presidency? From: http://www.worldnetdaily.co... Amen again! By the way, nice to see Congress be sued over this matter: http://www.worldnetdaily.co... 4 comments from 4 users

Oh yeah, quote Alan Keyes, he's totally sane. I guess I missed the part where we lost the republic. We had a peaceful change of power, and the new administration is still getting his staff appointed. I'm just not seeing where we lost anything here... but then again, I don't think like Alan Keyes. I'm not even convinced we're from the same planet. posted by

I guess I missed the part where we lost the republic. December 12, 2000. It was in all the papers, Pete. Keyes needs to find himself a good man and settle down. posted by

I know some people will never be satisfied, but wouldn’t it be appropriate to display, publicly a valid document so this question would go away? Or at least get a more convincing forgery? posted by

This travesty just boggles the mind, especially in regard to the MSM not having the least bit interest in uncovering what could be the story and scam of the century. That birth notice for Obama that appeared in the Honolulu paper -- doesn't the media see that it only announces that a birth took place and doesn't say WHERE the birth occurred, let alone bother with the fact that Hawaii at the time provided a way for residents to register births that took place overseas in Hawaii? And this is just the tip of the iceberg of all the potentialities that could disqualify the guy. At least the folks who dismissed any constitutional concerns won't be able to claim ignorance should the truth come to light. As for me, I can take comfort in Mark 4:22 -- For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light. I see a lot of parallels between this and the Catholic Church, which has had to deal with heretics who pick and choose what part of the catechism they wish to follow. We call them "Cafeteria Catholics." In the case of Obama and his followers who have failed to uphold the Constitution that they have sworn to do, we can brand them as "Cafeteria Constitutionalists" who have caused the Founding Fathers to roll in their graves.
