Claim: E-mail lists fifty lies told by Barack Obama. Status: Multiple - see below. http://www.snopes.com/polit...
Where are the "Snopes Snobs?" Apparently getting at the truth is considered to be snobbish to you. I see now why you're a conservative. You can't have any of that truthiness wasting your beautiful mind.

Well, being a fan of accurate information~ I tend to stay away from the above simply because it will only start "flame wars"(see Chicos recent post) change no minds that are firmly shut and anyone who cares to find out the truth of such is ,obviously ,sitting in front of the best dectective~ the internet posted by

Actually, "snobs" refers to the people that blindly believe everything the read on Snopes. But your complete lack of class reminds me why you are a Liberal. And for the record, I'm sure much of this list is a bunch of hooey. And i didn't need a website to tell me that. posted by

Enough of them are true to cause one to stop and wonder if the man is a liar or just has a bad memory. posted by

Snopes only refuted a handful of the original "50 Lies." And some of the refutes were ambiguous, at best. posted by

And yet you give McCain a free pass his mixing up of al-Qaeda, Sunnis and Shiite groups on several occasions. Hypocritical much?

Actually, "snobs" refers to the people that blindly believe everything the read on Snopes. And apparently researching material to get to the truth is also snobbish to you. I challenge you to provide evidence where Snopes has been wrong and has not corrected it promptly. It's only happened twice that I know of and both were very minor corrections. But your complete lack of class reminds me why you are a Liberal. LOL! What I said was a reference to Barbara Bush's comment about dead soldiers. If you want to talk about a complete lack of class, you truly need to have a sit down with her.

This is only the first of inaccurate innuendos that the right wing will throw in hopes that some of it sticks. Whye do we need to revert to mudslinging? Don't the right wing conservatives have anything positive to offer?

Hardly the first. Maybe the dozenth or so. . No, they don't have anything but slime. Their plan is five more years of death in Iraq, fueled by economic downturns at home leaving young folks no alternative but to enlist and die to keep oil prices high. Followed, if they survive intact, by no college education and no job prospects. After those five years the Republicans plan to declare victory and stay another hundred years. posted by

I challenge you to provide evidence where Snopes has been wrong and has not corrected it promptly. It's only happened twice that I know of and both were very minor corrections. Sure thing. As soon as someone creates and runs the AntiSnopes. The problem is few conservatives have the time or money to undertake such a thing. We are too busy working. Looking at the link provided earlier, their "corrections" included different interpretations. And their interpretations almost always have a liberal bias. posted by

Gee, witbee, I've never called McCain the "king of slime." Don't you think that's rather harsh? . There's the Conservapedia, Witbee. It's a joke. An unintentional one, to be sure, but a joke nonetheless. Know what it's most popular sections are? Let's just say Larry Craig would be one of their best customers. *FACTS* have a liberal bias. posted by

He is my "brother" in arms and heart first of all. Just to be clear. He is not local. He is nationally ranked master and instructor but lives in NM. He is jujitsu and not Tae Kwan Do BTW. But martial arts is martial arts. I have never known anyone more skilled in ALL the artifices of war (or combat) armed or unarmed. I'll ax him if he knows anyone to recommend locally. Yours IS Tae Kwon Do, right? posted by
