What's Going On? Famous Dave's & The Orchid
It's been awhile since I have made a post, but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot going on with the Inside Guide! We are currently working on creating a new section for the Inside Guide- Shopping! It contains all of the local shops you know and love! We'll let you know as soon as we get it launched. A lot of users have been reviewing new businesses like Famous Dave's and The Orchid. My favorite review was by sevenbates of Famous Dave's: Quite possibly, the best meal and experience I've had in Bakersfield since I moved here in 2000. Leslie, our server, was so good - that I actually contacted corporate to sing her praises. Honestly, the rest of the staff were outstanding as well. I'm a busy guy folks. I send emails and text people stuff. I don't call a company to tell them their staff are great. The facility was extremely clean, especially the bathrooms, and the overall experience was better than Cafe Med, Hungry Hunter, Hodel's, and Rose's - combined. I'm not kidding. I haven't made it to The Orchid, but I have been to and reviewed Famous Dave's. I love Famous Dave's! I will try to go to The Orchid sometime. The only Thai restaurant I've ever visited is Thai Kitchen and have only tried their cashew fish. Thai Kitchen is good and I hear some good and some bad stuff about The Orchid. I'll have to ride my bike over to The Orchid and try it myself.
