Time to put your thinking caps on!

OK.... I need some ideas... here is what is going on..

My best friend and her high school sweetheart are getting married in a week and a half, the bacholerette party is Saturday, and I want this to be a fun filled night for her. We will be having dinner of course... but as to what else to do to make this a wonderful night for her; I need some ideas!!

So please, put some thought in these, and if you have stories to tell feel free! Thank you!!!

They will also be in this weeks section of applause... please vote for them (unless your family/friend is there also LOL), they are the Scott wedding! thanks!

Tiffanilynn, what is the voting part for? I work at TBC but must be out of the loop on that. I take care of the Applause stuff online only.

Just a few ideas: If she likes to pamper, I would plan a spa night or if you want more exciting, go dancing somewhere.

That's all I got! Not too original but hope they help!

Yea, what's the voting part? They usually just put the announcement in the paper.

My friend had a passion party at her home and rented a party bus that took us to different clubs around town later in the night so that we could go dancing. We also did the scavenger hunt. It was tons of fun. The bus was great. We had drinks and loud music.  And we didn't have to worry about drinking and driving

Tiff, Definately make her dress up so everyone knows she is a bride. She will get so much attention. I think everyone should do something they have always wanted to do but havent done before. Mine was karaoke. We sang 'Girls just wanna have fun" It was a blast. Wont say what we did later that night, mom was with us, and she had a great time too.

My girls and I went to Vegas for my bachellorette party and had a BLAST!!! You just can't beat the clubs there.

I have gone to a few bachellorette parties in town but there really aren't many clean, classy, fun places to go... Rockin Rodeo was fun until the thugs started making trouble and got it shut down. Downtown isn't much fun anymore either. I might suggest a Passion Party/Bachellorette Party. A host comes to your house with brochures and samples of potions, lotions, creams, oils, lingerie, girl toys, games, books etc. for couples. The one I went to had balloons, straws, cake, ice cubes, etc. in the shape of a man's thingy. We played funny drinking games and had a lot of fun.

How about a devotional? A strong marriage includes God.

I'm guessing a passion party has nothing to do with the Mel Gibson movie.

Then there's the leaping-naked-through-the-fire fertility rites.  It's a little late for Midsummer, though.

She's gettin' hitched, not makin' babies.

I guess anyway.

they already have a baby

Sounds like a devotional on the responsibilities of being a wife and mother may be the better way to go. Ditto for the groom.

A typical bachelorette party seems tacky when the couple already have a child. What are they celebrating? Dyslexia?

Dyslexia!  LOL.

Lighten up, Witbee.  I've never been to a bachelorette party, but I doubt they could be any worse than a bachelor party.  They probably end with all the women drunk and crying, as opposed to drunk and half naked in a gutter across town.

they take very good care of their son, calm down witbee.

i asked for ideas for this. the boys are having their bacholer party so the girls are having theirs. and everyone knows what guys do already LOL.

Are you confined to Bksfld? How about Magic Mtn or Disneyland or Universal Studios or even a drive to Avila or Ventura? A little corny? Yes! But oh so much fun!

jade- yes we are confined here lol, which sucks because i thought disneyland would have been great! lol.. thank you everyone for your ideas

Didn't mean to imply they didn't take care of their child. Just the backwards nature of the situation. Not uncommon, sadly.

I do know what you mean witbee. We had a spur of the moment wedding and we decided not to do the bachelorette/bachelor party thing, since we were already living together with kids. Just our own doing I guess.

yes they were backwards, had a baby, bought a house and now they are getting married. lol.. still want to make it a special night for her. =) sorry for jumpin the gun witbee

Do the scavenger hunt at the clubs and write what you are looking for on her Tshirt. Some peep in laughlin did that and needed everything from lipstick to beads, keys, etc... and the person signed the t-shirt when they gave the treasure next to the item. It was fun...
