FLAUNTING some progress ...........
Hola!! :D did you miss me?? lol I sure did missed you ;) yes I have done it again , the good ol' dissapearing act te-hee ^.^ Time to catch up!! first of all thank you so much for the feed back , i <3 u all soo much for that ^.^ ok so I have def. been a busy bee lol here we go! Bartending> ok so this one hasn't been so good :/ I didn't go to the seminar thingy . I decided to learn hands on , so I'm still looking for a bar-back postion. I'm available to work from 5 to 11pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and fridays and anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. Know anyone looking to hire a motivated, hardworking, quick learner for a bar-back position?? >.< GO-GO dancing> I started networking right away :) I contacted some people in LA that organize events. They asked for 3 pictures and a resume, so now I'm looking for photographers that need to expand their portfolios. Know any?? Nerding out> I enrolled for 2 online classes at bc. I am currently taking Dreamweaver and html/xml :D VERY EXCITING STUFF! lol I purchased a domain and I'm now working on my site!! I even found a printer for shirts in LA and will go visit the shop next week yay! ^.^ I can't wait to get my designs out there! still gets very lonely tho' :-/ Wish I knew other cool/fun people to nerd out with , Know any??

I still think you should start a website that is like a chat room/neighborhood bar. Lets face it, a lot of people drink while they blog and you could have your own site on kind of a bar theme. You could make most of your money off ads (once it takes off) and with your newly learned (learning) graphics expertise you could give it a "bar look & feel". Have like "Coyote Ugly" Night with some animated (or even real) babes who "dance on the bar"! Maybe even have people join in with webcams if they wanted to be so bold! I'm sure you could think of all kinds of ideas. Have theme drinks, etc. People could choose interactive chacters to be. There's all kinds of things you copuld do with great graphics and interfaces! Make it topical -- have a different theme each night and pretty much stick to that but not limited to. That would keep things going and you'd always have somewhere to "kick things off". It would need constant attention but it would be fun. You could even hire some kids to help you. They'd love it! Even have areas on site where you could play "virtual darts" etc. Keep scores for characters and all. Just like regular bar! Once you get your base of "regulars" down (like in cheers) it would start to get really popular as people would "visit" just to see who's there. Some interesting characters always helps. Heck, you could be several of them! Its just a thought. Would need your ideas. But remember, Google started out with just a thought! I have a lot of ideas for it. I think it could work! At least you'd have fun doin it! People like being "characters" and such on internet and this would just be an extension of that! posted by

Remember that stupid "telephone bar" across from the Bakersfield Inn back in the 70's? I thought it was stupid but a lot of people went there! People would call each other from their tables. It may not have been that bad an idea way back then (it was copied in the 90's in some cities I know of) but the place was seedy as was the clientele (hell I was in thar) haha! But the idea is similar. There are actual mortar & stone bars that have PC's where people can "interface" first before IRL, so it would be kind of like that only they could do it from home. On theme nights the drinkers could arm their PC table with the drink of the evening and when bell rings (like on Two and a Half Men bar) you have to take a shot, etc. Its probably been done before, but you could do it better! Just a thought to get ya goin on your own thinking.
