Pretty impressive.  She seems like quite a remarkable woman.

Her best interview to me is the one with Bartinomo on CNBC IMO. She knows more about the energy business than any of the other candidates can even imagine.

That's why McCain chose her. Energy policy is going to be the primary campaign topic. And on that score the Dems have nothing....... (other than misguided rhetoric about taxing Big Oil and fatuous talk about CH4 not being a fossil fue, etc.)

I saw the same interview on CNBC.  She understands that we are a capitalistic society (sorry BO, maybe they didn't teach you that in Princeton) and that oil companies have a duty to look after their shareholders. She also understands as CEO of Alaska that she has a constitutional duty to protect the interests of her shareholders, the citizens of her state.  And she does it.  Those national resources are the citizens and the citizens want them developed nt only for Alaskans, but all Americans.  She knows what a fossil fuel is, unlike the leader of the H of R. Did anyone see the statement issued by Pelosi regarding Palin?  Absolutely digusting for a woman in her position.

Palin may well be entitled to the Dick Cheney Petty Vindictiveness Award.  The Alaska Legislative Council voted unanimously (with 2 absent) to hire a special investigator to determine whether Palin fired the Alaska Public Safety Director for refusing to fire Palin's former brother-in-law, a State Trooper, and, if so, whether she broke any state laws in doing so.   What I found interesting is that the vote was unanimous, meaning that all of the voting Republicans as well as all of the Democrats on the panel thought that the matter should be investigated ( I checked, the Council has 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats).

The investigator's report will be due on October 31st, a few days before the election, but my feeling is that an excuse will be found to delay the findings until after the election.

If anyone wants to talk about Palin's executive experience, just read some of the articles about the matter.  Innocent or guilty, Palin's handling of the matter was horrible.
