Ace, thanks for the cool local post from the Metro Galleries with the combo! I really appreciate your efforts here to turn on some of us to the devoted jazz improvisation scene around town. Your posts don't always get the love they deserve, but there are a few of us who thank you for putting your passion on the blogs. Also, I miss your talented musings on everyday life. Cheers!

thx adam - I hope you get a chance to catch some of these performances. The one at Metro was great!

 

I sort of have been experiencing writers block on my comedy pieces. My GF has been getting on my case to write some more stuff, so, I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, I just started writing about Bakersfield jazz for Examiner.com. Here's a recent story if you are interested: http://www.examiner.com/x-2...
