Gas prices: Has it come to this?! (part II)

There's only one man (or woman) who can save us from the rising gas prices: God.

That's right, the head honcho.

The Pray at the Pump movement has been holding prayer vigils at gas stations across the country.

Get the details here.

Good luck with that.  God's got stock in ExxonMobil.  Besides, if he were inclined to help, why would he have put *OUR* oil under *IRAQI* soil?

By the way, Bush just crossed another item off Osama bin Laden's Christmas wish list.  About six years ago bin Laden said he would like to see crude oil at $144 a barrel to help him cripple our economy.

Now, maybe if those Pray at the Pump guys would direct their prayers to Allah via Mecca, they'd get somewhere...

My goodness, I have never heard of something so lame in my life.  I'm not slighting God here folks, but praying for cheaper gas?  Try sending letters to your congressmen or electing some new ones that will actually have the heart to do something about it.

Praying for lower gas prices works as well as standing in a parking lot holding hands praying for the gang bangers to "see the light" and play nice.

About two years ago, Nancy Polosi said that they (democrats) would have the price of gas down to around $2.25 in three months.  It is longer than that Nancy, where are you?

Twyman, who is a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, spent the afternoon outside of the embassy praying and asking passersby to sign his petition for the release of more oil, which he hopes to deliver to the Saudi oil minister.

I hope he remembers to tell him not to send any oil on Saturdays.
