Why would you leave a $1000 doll in a car? You don't stop playing with dolls because you grow old. You grow old because you stop playing with dolls. Does anyone else see a problem with grown women toting dolls around town as if they're real children? I still have the occasional tea party with my kids and their "babies", but...I draw the line at buying car seats and taking them shopping. If you're spending a grand on a doll, then I'd like to point you to a few charities that help REAL babies that could use your bucks. posted by

The doll is adorable. I can see why someone would want to own one. But taking a $1000 doll out then leaving it in a locked car can only be described as a sick prank. It's done for the shock value. Anyone doing this should be charged with malicious mischief.
