Burger King employee videotaped taking bath in restaurant sink

Some workers at a Greene County, Ohio, Burger King are in hot water with the health department, after an employee took a bubble bath in a store sink.

Sounds like a whopper? No, it's true. Story here.

If I'm in Greene County, Ohio, I will not patronize a Burger King--which I usually don't anyway. Thanks for the tip.

Doesn't really matter what they do after this, they lost a lot of customers because of some nasty idiots! When I was 17 working at the wendys in oildale, I seen the managers son, wash his head in the ice water bucket that the rinsed the lettuce in. I never ate there again.

Who only knows, what goes on behind closed doors.

It's always best to know the manager, know what they allow and don't allow.

As someone recently pointed out about Jack In The Box,  Burger King should be the safest place on earth to eat right now.  Scrutiny is everything.

It might be Nancy, but that thought will still be in your mind. Just one of the many reasons I hate fast-food!

Reminds me of an AA cook in the Army who once told me he would wash his feet in the pots and do other things to the utensils and even the food............

When I asked why he just said it was because he knew 9 out 10 of the people eating it would be something other than black.

He ruined my chow times for awhile........

Most people would be appalled at what goes on in the kitchen of restaurants.  Even non fast food.

Yeah in high school I worked for Marie Calendars, the Bakersfield Country Club, and Red Lion Inn. You would be surprised.

Ohio?  The guy is so unattractive that I'd swear he was from around here.

It would't be half as bad if he was good looking.  Spam code YUFAT

My wife went to Burger King at the drive through and when she got to the window the guy took her $20 and told her to pull forward to wait for her order....when they brought the food she asked for her change and at first he refused..kept saying he already gave it too her etc..she finally had to threaten him with a report to his manager and Guess What..he suddenly realized his mistake..

Moral..don't drive up to their waiting area before they give you the change..ya might not be dealing with an honest person..

Someone bathing in a restuarant does not gross me out as much as the second lizard found in an Applebee's salad: www.wjbc.com/wire2/news/12807_ApplebeesLizardWEB_ 184618.htm

First lizard found (at least it was salmonella-negative): www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi

Yes the dude in the bath isn't as gross as the lizard in the salad! Yuck!

I know I'm sterotyping, but my experience has been that family-run chinese restaurants are the cleanest. Cleanliness seems to be a fixation. Makes sense if their own family is eating the same thing.

Now that we know how nasty fast-food joints are, is there a restaurant you can go to and feel that your food hasn't been tampered with or exposed in unhealthy conditions?

The upside is, you know the kid behind the counter who's waiting on you has had a bath recently.

I feel better already Audrey..lol.  Honestly though, I can just see all the Burger King places around the country reading the employees the riot act and you can bet your food will be over par ...at least til the new wears off the story.

My guess is that those kids set that up as a prank, probably late at night, and got busted.   Doesn't make it sound any better but you have to know that isn't a common Saturday night bath thing.  Wonder what flavor bubble bath he used.  Wait ! Maybe he used santizer for a rinse.
