Q: Have you heard any talk about the East Hills Wal-Mart store becoming a Super Wal-Mart by buying the empty Von’s market next to it thus making a huge, one-stop market?

A: Although the company recently remodeled the store, Wal-Mart has no plans to turn its East Hills location into a Super Wal-Mart, company spokesman Aaron Rios said by e-mail.
But such a conversion may not be out of the question if conditions change.
“Currently we have no immediate plans for this location but will continue to monitor the market for potential opportunities,” Rios wrote.
