Q: What is the purpose of that five-story tall, triangle-shaped tower located behind Sam’s Club off Young Street near Harris Road?
It almost looks like a tower for communications.
It’s located in the back of a lot behind what looks like a very high security building with lots of cameras and no identifying signs on Young Street.
The whole structure and building looks very secret and ominous. What business or government entity is this and what do they do in that building?

A: It is a communications tower, Rob. Verizon Wireless owns the building at 5508 Young St. Although some people work there, the bulk of the building houses switching equipment.
