Urge to Merge?
Guess it wasn't just Watchstone and Touchson that were merging lately. That is all I will say about it. 5 comments from 3 users

According to my sources, the Watson office at Truxtun will shut down, but they will move to the Touchstone office. Marketplace Watson office will remain. There is a big banner with the new logo hung on the Touchstone office now. About 50 agents will be cut, the ones who were least productive. A meeting was called last Friday morning, and when they came out of the meeting, names had been placed on the offices, showing where you would be moved, or if you couldn't find your name, then hit the road, Jack. Emotions ran high, and there was a loud argument between an agent and a team. They are saying that it is a merger, and there was no cash paid by one or the other to acquire the other company. Watson seems to be slightly ahead, as Ken Carter is the President, and Watson Sales Manager JR Lewis, is the Sales Manager. The structuring of the merger was reported in the Californian, and the other stuff was just what I heard from agents calling other agents who worked at Touchstone or Watson. But semi reliable sources, I assure you.
