Herb's article about the woman who had her tortoise stolen reminded me of one of my own. Unfortunatly, my story does not have a happy ending. You can find it here.
Interesting side note - the friend who gave me that tortoise is now my husband. I had no idea things would turn out this way, but somehow he always did.
