James Michael Brady was a man that any one would have been lucky enough to meet. He had a beautiful wife and twins, boy and girl, who were 21 years of age. Just when life seemed so great, the news of a brain tumor struck him and his family. I wasn't family, but to this day I feel as if I was. He was my dad's partner in crime on the soccer field and the muscle man who could lift me up to the skies even though i was a chubby kid.

For 19 monthes Jimbo fought brain cancer and on this day for years ago, he lost. At only 50 years old, heaven gained an angel that I, to this day, am very jealous of. I miss him so much and feel so blessed to have him as my guardian angel.

Please remember to tell all who is close to you, family or friend, that you love them each chance you get. Cancer or any other terrible illness or accident can take any one of us at any time, leaving many to regret the time lost.

I may be a little 19 year old with much more life and lesson's to learn, but i know one thing to be true. I took the time with Jim for granted because I believed that he could do anything. Life everyday as if it was your last - and do what makes you happy.

Jim would have wanted that.
