Hey Bakersfield. As a participant of Bakersfield's Relay for Life each and every year, I just want to remind you that May 3, 2008 will be this years date for the special event. I can almost guarentee that each and everyone of you is related to or knows of someone who has had or has cancer. If you want to make a difference, big or small, check out this website. http://main.acsevents.org/s... If you don't make a donation of any kind, promise that you will make an appearence at the event. It's a overwhelming experience to see all the survivors and fighters of cancer that come out. Place a luminary for those that are no longer physically here, or get involved with raffles and drawings held around the CSUB fields. I'll be there at the McAuliffe elementary booth, painting faces, as well as walking numerous laps to help find a cure. It WILL happen someday--perhaps in YOUR lifetime? May 3rd, 2008...be there or be square!!! Thanks- Jolie
