Brews In the Village

Were you there fellow bloggers? What a great time, and all for a good charity. The food was plentiful and delicious - a few that we visited were: PF Changs, Cafe Med, BJ's, Champs BBQ, Coldstone Creamery, The Garden Spot, Woody's Grill. I never saw them run out either, even at 9pm, the food was still flowing. My favorite was Nikki's BBQ - deep pit, potato salad to die for and chili beans.

Beers and wine were plentiful, I have to admit I did like the White Merlot at the San Marcos Creek Vineyard booth, but beer is my favorite drink and I tasted plenty of it!

Lastly, the music was GREAT! Of all the bands, I really liked The News Brothers who played at the Big Kahunaville stage from 8:15 to 9:45. What a great group who I would love to hear again, although I don't know where they play at regularly.

Everybody was friendly, although it was crowded and HOT. All the workers were fabulously.

Tell me your experiences bloggers and your favorite drinks/food!

ok, I had a busy weekend. Greek Festival friday and of course Brew's last night. Very good time at both. Totally, different atmosheres. Had a blast at both. However, Brew's is one of my favorite events. That said:

A) booths did not run out of food like everyone says it does. ( food was great) congrats to all the vendors

B) beer and wine was flowing....till at least 10 ....great booths

I'll stop right here  to say the people who were working the booths  AWESOME  great....great job

music there was music ...............never got to see the bands .....sorry guys to busy meeting and greating and people watching

C) The music was good

D) NO FIGHTS !!!!!!!!!! (guess the $55 keeps out the WWE 'ers and Extreme Fighter wanna bees)

E) lots of places to see, stop and eat and drink at....and I think I hit ever one

Ok, for those who think there are disrespectful people in Bakersfield .....should go to this.   Everyone behaved.......LOTS of people dressed  WOW ......all I have to say................WOW.....we have alot of good looking people in Bakersfield

So my night : went with some good friends ......ran into some old friends.......ate .....drank.......drank......people watched

and spent a whole lot of time on the port-o-potty line .....probably why I didnt see the bands ........and did the responsible thing a had a designated driver.....so I can write this today.................

BEST TIME THIS YEAR SO FAR............................GREAT JOB 20/30 CLUB

Went to the Greek Festival last night.  GREAT food.  Had fun people watching.   Saw my husband turn into a teenager talking to an old love from when he went to BC in the 80's.  This morning, not so good, possible food poisoning?  Because the "hits" just keep on coming.

My friend went, it must have been good her car is still parked outside my house! Mr. sage dropped her off, cab home, so she must have gotten her $50 worth.

Sorry for those of you who did not attend - but starting putting aside a couple bucks each month NOW so you can go next year! I thought it was THE social event of the year! After coming home, takling a cold shower and getting rid of the Pale Ale smell from my hands, I was so pleased with the whole event. And... and refiguy said, no fights, just a great time!
