The first time I met the Nashes was at Studio 99 a few years back.

Rocky was hangin’ out in the audience, and Preston was holding baby Harley who was sporting a mohawk.

Preston’s New Jersey accent caught my attention. I knew this guy was definitely far from home, and I had to know how he ended up in Bakersfield radio.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know the couple - both professionally and just hanging out at the club as fans of or local scene. When I found out that Rocky’s ex-husband, Chad, was living in their house, too, I knew I had to get the lowdown on their story.

Personally, I doubt my exes would ever care to live in the same house after a break-up, much less with a new girlfriend — or wife!? Get outta here!

Yet, the Nashes have proven themselves to be more than mature enough to put parenting first and keep the love and emotions in check. The lesson here? It’s all about the kids.
