Silent Knight: I dedicate this song to all the troops we've lost in 2007

Though things seem to have stabilized, to some extent, of late, the loss of soldiers (heaven's gain) over the past year has been overwhelming and sad.  We can all unite in grief, whether you support Bush's international policy, and this war, or not.

Silent Knight is one of three Dr BLTunes that will be distributed among the troops this year, with lots of help from HEARTS OF OUR SOLDIERS.  It is dedicated to those members of our military who have lost their lives over the past year, and their family/loved ones.

Honorable deceased men and women of our military, this one's for you:

Silent Knight

from the CD, Certified Gold, Incense and Myrrh

It's close, but only the rum, pum, pum, pum tune edges-out Silent Night for Christmas music I could do without ever hearing again. Apologies to all and Merry Christmas!

Good, that means you haven't ruled out Silent Knight.  No need to apologize.  Though I love the old classics, I'm glad you prefer my originals to the old standards.

Actually, I didn't click on the track in fear the Silent Night steamroller would start haunting me for the rest of the day like an Eagles greatest hit. Was my fear unfounded?

You won't know if your fears are unfounded unless you give it a try.  It's hard to compete with the Eagles greatest hits, I will say that.

This, of course, is, Silent Knight, a tale of a knight, not a tale of that night, though it is also a tale that happens to take place at Christmastime.  Even if this song doesn't suit your fancy,  I'm sure there's something on the CD you'd like.  So far the one critic that has reviewed it, liked all of the songs, some more than others.  I'll stop now, before I start sounding like I'm try to sell something instead of simply sharing with friends, the highlights of my musical journey.

Thanks, sage.  I'll have to ask Mrs. Santa to get me this for Christmas.
