Accidental iPhone Art: Music to the Eyes: Tell me what you see in this. Share your accidental art

I'm honestly not trying to start a new fad.  It's simply the boredom talking.

In blog n roll, I provide the tunes and the topic and you provide the talk.  But every once in awhile we mix things up so they won't become too boring, or too predictable.  In this case, I'm providing the art, if it could actually be considered art, in the mind of the art purest.  The music you are hearing, is secondary, to accompany the visual music.

If you want to hear my cover of the Beatles, Norweigen Wood, hit the play bar in the music play station above.  It's from the as-yet-unreleased, unavailable CD, Putting the BLT in BeaTLes.

I'm calling this series Accidents not Waiting to Happen, or simply, Accidental Art.

I call this one Trout's Fishing because the photo was taken at Trout's, at Billy Mize' s birthday party.  It was taken on my iPhone, and it is an accident.  You too can become an iphone accidental artist.  All you have to do is take some poor pictures and have an unsteady hand.

It's cool, because, in a sense, fate is the impressionist artist.  You simply open up your lense, and open your mind to the possibility of channeling fate itself.

Here's where you come in.  Tell me what you see as you look at the piece.  This is not for the purpose of psychoanalysis of your art.  It's simply for the sake of sharing and pooling personal impressions of the work.

There's a second way you can participate, and that is by adding your own piece of accidental art.

Are you ready?  Set?  Blog n roll!

First of all..... very reminiscent of my psychedelic tripping days of yore. Dr. Albert Hoffman RIP. (102)

It appears as a young red haired woman is combing her hair in the mirror.... which has a big toothpaste smear on the right side of it.... her hair appears as a red neon outline... on lower left you can see her shoulder line and the smaller blue dotted line makes up her collar bone, neck line and jaw line on the left side... the top of her head... from her lips upward... is out of frame... you can even see the trail lines that the comb is leaving from the up and down movements... nice !!

OK, so, what is see is a picture that was taken by someone who definitely didn't have a steady hand. The lighting must have been poor in this room, because the camera set itself to about, say, one or two seconds for the shutter speed, and because of the slow shutter speed, it caused the neon streaks all over the picture when your hand was moving while taking the picture. By the looks of it, your hand went down after you clicked the button, swerving a bit, and then you curved upwards a bit, and then you went straight up until the picture was finished.

Wow, Gsisola, you have one creative mind; I'd never have imagined that from a few neon streaks. It's funny, though. I like to think I'm a pretty good photographer when I want to be, shooting things that not everyone would see, but I can't be creative and see weird things like that.

Wow, talk about contrasting perspectives!  Thanks.  I appreciate both perspectives!  The second one is one I could definitely use more of :)

I thought it was breasts.......

I once accidently made a cool picture on my cell phone. I accidently smashed the screen in a car door and the resulting carnage to the LCD looked like a star made from lightning. People kept asking me how they could get it. When I told them, they didn't want it.

Didn't care for my mental picture.... or should I say "vision" BLT.... you seem to me as someone with some sense of abstract thought process.... being a musician and all... ever lay on your back in the grass on a somewhat cloudy day..... you know a "puffy cloud" day.... with a real close friend and tell each other what you see.... abstract mental visions... forms...shapes.... same process.... I actually think what I have described here is accurate "in my mind".... I cannot look at the photo now and not see her "combing her hair".... I guess it's just my right brained artistic background and upbringing coming out in me... keep it up .... I liked it !!

I am sorry that the first few lines of this comment sound a little offensive.... clearly not my intent.... my apologies if taken in that context.

Robin.... thank you....*I think*... for your comments..... I try to be open... expanded...aware... observant... and very creative in all aspects of my journey here... again thanks !!

I really did like it BLT... almost like solving a puzzle....give us some more... challenge us.

I thought it was breasts.......

Tempting, but I've vowed to leave my psychoanalytic mind at the door on this experiment.

I once accidently made a cool picture on my cell phone. I accidently smashed the screen in a car door and the resulting carnage to the LCD looked like a star made from lightning. People kept asking me how they could get it. When I told them, they didn't want it.

Do you still have the picture?  Would you be able to post it here?

I am sorry that the first few lines of this comment sound a little offensive.... clearly not my intent.... my apologies if taken in that context.

I was not offended in the least bit, but I must make clear that I thought your associations to the piece were wonderful.  They were extremely creative.

The reason I said I could use more of the second person's perspective is because I tend to get my head a little bit too high in the clouds, and often too easily ignore technical and practical elements that, if embrassed and harnessed, could really work to my advantage.

I really did like it BLT... almost like solving a puzzle....give us some more... challenge us.

More will follow.  And I'll eagerly look forward to the associations you make to the next "work."

scuse me ma'am

yassee, I saw the word breasts and...................

Note to self:  No, you're not even going to go there :)

I see two partial maps of Kentucky tilted on-end, plus a person kneeling.

You've brought in an entirely different perspective, one combining geography and spirituality.  Now, that's unique!
