Historic interview/recording session with living legend "Playboy" Lloyd Reading tonight in BuckarooM
IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING---two generations, united by one sound, the Bakersfield sound. Tonight, beginning at 7 pm, the man Hank Ray and I have named "Playbody Lloyd" in this co-written song of ours, will be joining us in an historic video-taped interview/recording session in my own home studio--the BuckarooM. The plan is to interview Lloyd, partially in the traditional question/answer format, and partially in the form of a song called Them Blackboard Days, in which Lloyd Reading will have the opportunity to respond to questions introduced in the first verse of the song, with rhyming answers he offers in verse two. If time permits, we will recording more new material, and perhaps some covers after the musically-enhanced interview/recording involving the interview-based song, Them Blackboard Days. We'll keep you posted. Watch for details in the coming days, here and at: Bakersfield Sound Underground http://www.bakersfieldsound... And remember, if you ain't goin' underground, you ain't goin' anywhere! For more on Lloyd Reading, and his burgeoning legacy, visit: http://www.bakotopia.com/ho...
