And now that Todd's ex-business partner's divorce records will be released, we'll find out if his wife initiated it because of infidelity.  The Enquirer story is looking more and more like a repeat of the Edwards' story.

-The affair apparently happened in the mid 1990's, around the time Palin had just become mayor of the small Alsakan town of Wasilla.

-The man alleged to have had the affair with Sarah Palin was a guy by the name of Brad Hanson.

-Some reports say Brad Hanson is a council member with the Alaskan city of Palmer.

-Brad Hanson was a business partner of Sarah Palin's husband, Todd. Brad Hanson and Todd Palin shared a Anchorage Car Wash venture together.

-Brad Hanson was apparently also married at the time, he divorced his wife not long after.

- According to reports today, this week Brad Hanson filed an emergency motion to have his divorce papers sealed with an Alaskan family court. The motion was... denied.

-According to the National Enquirer, there definitely "was" an affair, but some sources suggest it was pretty tame. Just "reportedly flirtatious.... but (Palin and Brad Hanson) never consummated the relationship."

-In its latest news stand editions, The National Enquirer said: "Todd discovered the affair and quickly dissolved his friendship and business associations with the guy. Many people in Alaska are talking about the rumour and say Todd swept it under the rug."

-Speaking out against the National Enquirer, John McCain spokesman Steve Schmidt said, “Its a vicious lie.”

According to other sources, the National Enquirer said it would be holding off on further details until "next week."

I just tried "Tom's Famous Burgers" on Rosedale Hwy. Best burgers in town -- in my opinion. The owner's very nice and he appreciates the business!

Also, I have 8 lbs. of Peet's coffee in my freezer!

I'm not all that worried Nancy. Obama has turned quite a few safe "red states" into battleground toss ups. McCain is going to have to spend money and campaign in places that Republicans have traditionally blown Democrats away in. That was one of Hillary's biggest downfalls too. They both underestimate his organizational skills. One other common theme I'm seeing is that McCain was saying how much more experience he had, and now is adopting Obamas message of change because he realized that's what people are looking for. Hillary did the same thing. The biggest difference is that Hillary represented change way more than mr 25 years in the senate. Palin unfortunately represents change, but an extremely socially conservative change that won't go over very well, except for those on the far right. I doubt very many Americans want things like book banning and abortion banning.

ChicoEscuela: Tom's Famous Burgers is on the south side of Rosedale Hwy., just across the street from Bakersfield fire station 61. It's on a corner one block east of Calloway (just east of the "Cheap Gas" mini mart on the corner of Rosedale & Calloway.) The place is very small, but the burgers are incredible! And believe it or not, the owner is NICE!

Chico, locally you can buy it at Vons, but it's not the same as getting it from an actual Peets coffee or getting it shipped.

I like the chicory. But now we have a new maker with a grinder so we do beens and I can't find any chicory.

I also like cumen in my coffee (Indian) but can't find either one even at Trader Joe's.

I do find if I put a little Kessler in it though, it doesn't matter..............   ;-)
