Why doesn't Trout's restore the neon sign and remove that awful floodlight?

I like it.  It's so aweful that's it's good.  That's one of the things that gives the old place character.  It gives it a little more of a haunted feel too, which is good for Halloween.  But neon would be good too.  I love neon.

What I wanted to know is why they painted the building that Gawd awful red?  Next thing you know they'll have to change the name to "The Red Fish."

It's not noticible at night but in the daytime, my Lord it's gaudy.

Would the two of you mind me sharing your concerns with Rockwell in the form of suggestions?

Hi, Bruce, I saw you performing in front of NW Promenade Starbucks a few weeks ago, on a Monday morning. You probably get all kinds of greetings, but as I was leaving the drive-thru I smiled and waved. You nodded hi and smiled back. Thank you.

Thanks for smiling and waving.  Such friendly people are harder to come by these days.  Feel free to stop up next time and introduce yourself, if you have the time that is.

I don't mind you sharing with him at all.  Although my guess is the cost to repair the neon sign would be prohibitive and he must like the red building or he wouldn't have painted it that way...lol.  I doubt the suggestions will help.  Several people have commented on the color to me as well.

He probably set up the spotlights as an affordable way to draw attention to the trout.

I'll tell him to go ahead and send you the bill :)

Pass on the suggestions.  I'm with Nancy regarding the paint job.  Geez!  It truly looks like recovering addicts were given the job.

Neon can't be THAT expensive.  Hell, the amount of time, effort, and money to change 7th Standard should more than cover the price to refurbish the old sign.
