Boone's Farm: My Interview with Pat Boone
On Boone's farm, you'll find a crop of hit songs, a crop of hit movies and a even some successful books.  Pat tells me there's a brand new memoir in the works that involves his reflections on his first 50 years in the entertainment industry.  Following my interview with back in December of 2005, Pat emailed me from Hawaii to thank me, stating that I was the first writer in a long time who didn't distort the facts as they were presented to me.  To update you, Pat has also recently made news by publically defending Bush against renewed verbal attacks from the Dixie Chicks.  When he learned that I had recorded a song about the Dixie Chicks, he actually asked permission from me (a man who can count his fans on one hand),  to borrow the song title of that song for an article he was working on.

Now I know some of you missed the interview in the local Blackboard, in Vocations and Prayer magazine, and at Phantom Tollbooth, and many of you are "google-challenged."  For those who have been complaining about lack of access, I'm offering a link that will transport you to Boone's Farm of Fame, where I had the pleasure of visiting for about one hour.  If you try to link to the song, you'll be sadly disappointed.  The link is inoperable, because after hearing the song a time or two, I decided it was one of the worst songs I had ever written in my life.  Pat deserves better, so there will likely be a brand new, improved edition surfacing in the near future.  Stay tuned.   I won't ramble on any further.  Here's the link to Boone's farm:
