Finding my way back

`Hello everybody, new friends and old.  I have really missed being a part of this community, but every since the motorcycle accident on May 14 I have felt that I have had little to share.  There have also been a number of setbacks in the healing process that have thrown me into a long pit of despair and I am just now starting to find my way back.

Part of that process had been reconnecting with my music.  Currently a friend of mine and myself have started working on our second album.  I have attached a short clip of one of the tunes to this post.  And, here are some pix.

Above Lewis Gillham aka Harley Dude records the orchestral percussion to my composition "Among The Giants"

Here BMWeerman reaquaints himself with the guitar after a long absence.

I am just guessing, but I think this may be the most innovative bass drum stand yet!

Please listen to the attached sound byte...more to come and feedback appreciated.

Thanks

BMWeerman

Good to hear from you, Cam. Give Patti a hug for us.   Will listen to clip later (don't have sound at the moment.)

Hi Cam~ been wondering how it goes with you both!  Chin up , I know that is easier said than done, but this too will pass.  I like the clip ~very atmospheric.  We missed you both too.

I dunno if I'm havin' issues with my laptop, but what I could hear, sounded great.  I've also been thinking about you two.  I had my foot surgery about a month ago this Thursday.  I got a  second cast on today.  Doc told me he'd put yet another one on in three weeks....so I'm knowin' (and feelin') the long road.  It's a slow one too.  My best to you both.

Love the innovative drum on the wheelchair.  You wanna have a wheelchair burning when this is all over?

Glad to hear from you, as always Cam. Hope you and Patti are doing well.

Cam, I got a pond in the backyard.  We could light 'em on fire, and then push roll them into the pond.  Y'know, for safety, of course.  And we'd have to come up with some treat to roast over them before we push 'em in. too.  NOT S'Mores, 'cause I don't want NO more of this.  That's it.  N'mores.  No more pain, no more chairs.  What's gonna be in the treat?

And I'm completely aware of my double negative.

How about we hire a coffee cart for the night and get all wired and dance all night.  For me the best treat is going to be walking upright again.  Well, and not to mention riding motorcycles.

Any news on the bike, Cam?  Were they able to salvage?

It sounds like it could be a great soundtrack for a movie. Can't hear it very well - don't know if it's my laptop or what. You don't know me but Patti's posts brought me into this whole saga and I've missed her postings and hope you realize what a lucky man you are to have her in your life! Hope you're both healing from this and wish you both a very happy and accident free future!

Hey Random...thanks for asking...after a long fight with the insurance company we did get the salvage back.   The salvage bike is still in New Mexico with a BMW brother.  My living room is about half full of replacement parts....now if I could just get healthy enough to get it all together.

AnonCon...thanks for your concern, and believe me I know what an awesome woman Patti is!

I just posted the entire tune instead of just a piece...if you still have trouble hearing it maybe I need to bump up the gain.

Thanks again.
