Well friends, today is the day my wounded metal steed returns from New Mexico courtesy of a brother in the BMW club.  I have already assembled as many parts as I thought I was going to need, getting most of them salvage.

Here is my thought...

These are the two side and front body panels...I was going to have them painted black...but maybe two-tone would be kind of cool!

In Victor Frankl's book, "Man's Search for Meaning," the Austrian Psychiatrist recounts his long imprisonment in the Nazi concentration camps.  He observed that each prisoner went through three distinctive phases.  The first, of course, being shock and horror.  These feeling gradually gave way to a profound sense of apathy and resignation.  Finally, after liberation they found themselves bitter at the receptions they received in their home towns.

I have experienced a little bit of this during these last few months.   Certainly not the torture or the humiliation, but the sudden loss of my self sufficiency, and being virtuall a shut in.  Patti asked me last night if I would like to go out for coffee and I said no.  She pointed out to me that I had gotten way to comfortable being isoloated in the house so we went and it was great.  Today we are off to visit friends in LA.

To keep me sane and to find meaning in this twighlight zone part of my life, I am continuing to work on the road music album.  I have attached some more excerpts to this post and would love your feedback.

Thanks BMWeerman

Since I have been laid up this last few months, I have taken time to work on the Novella that has been banging around in my head for a while.  My unique spin on it is to present it in powerpoint format with original music.

Unfortunately at this time I have not been able to figure out how to attach the music to the Power Point files in a portable format so please forgive me for making it a movie.

I have presented here an abbreviated version of the prologue.

The complete novella will be published in  "Horizons Unlimited" soon.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello everybody...at long last the Road Show Shop is open.

www.cafepress.com/roadshowshop

I am particularly pleased to announce that all proceeds will be donated directly to the San Juan Regional Trauma Center and family hostel.

At the moment we have only a small inventory of Road Show items but I am excited to announce that Rupert Piston of Cartoon Thunder will be contributing some artwork soon.

So please take a look,  and remember if you make a purchase all the money goes to the Trauma Center.

Thanks for listening everybody.

This week  on Road Show my good buddy Glen Heggstad, author of "Two Wheels Through Terror," joined us by phone from south of the border.  We discussed his upcoming National Geographic Special, His brothers brothel in Nevada, and other irrelavant topics.  There is also a great pic of his new BMW HR2 on the Road Show website which I would not post here.

Just thought I would share some of the fun,

`Hello everybody, new friends and old.  I have really missed being a part of this community, but every since the motorcycle accident on May 14 I have felt that I have had little to share.  There have also been a number of setbacks in the healing process that have thrown me into a long pit of despair and I am just now starting to find my way back.

Part of that process had been reconnecting with my music.  Currently a friend of mine and myself have started working on our second album.  I have attached a short clip of one of the tunes to this post.  And, here are some pix.

Above Lewis Gillham aka Harley Dude records the orchestral percussion to my composition "Among The Giants"

Here BMWeerman reaquaints himself with the guitar after a long absence.

I am just guessing, but I think this may be the most innovative bass drum stand yet!

Please listen to the attached sound byte...more to come and feedback appreciated.

Thanks

BMWeerman
