As the school year comes to a close, I want to say "thank you" to all of the Centennial High School Cheerleaders (varsity, JV, and frosh/soph). The Kern High School District needs to leave sports alone. There will be many angry parents and fans (I'm a Centennial fan myself) if sports are cut thanks to Sacramento's problems. As of yesterday, there is a new 4-way stop sign at (of all intersections) Merle Haggard Dr and Saco Rd/Quinn Rd/Northbound 99 off-ramp. Earlier today I turned my TV to MTV and saw a couple of episodes of "My Super Sweet 16." Well actually it was a special of that series where they counted down the most expensive, "blingest" episodes.
