Acupreasure what next!
Acupressure What Next~
As you can tell (I hope) this is complete satire, lol. Other than the fact that acupuncture doesn’t work, there’s tons of literature to support that just head over to www.pubmed.org and dig around for some studies, fake acupuncture, works just as well as “real” acupuncture. So what does that say? Well it’s more than likely a placebo effect, cause the more variables we can control, the positive effect of acupuncture goes down. So test after test it’s shown not to work. Proponents claim that it makes peoples pain lessen or helps them quit smoking, as the ad that I saw claimed. The tricky thing is pain, and how well someone quits smoking is all subjective. My pain threshold obviously is different than someone else. (in medic school we got poked with needles for fun) lol. So their claims that it’s an ancient and holistic medicine makes it valid, are infact a simple logical fallacy known as argument from authority, no matter how old, something is, it doesn’t make it right. Hey blood letting is an old tradition of curing sickness lets do it again! All in all, it’s very sad to see people trying to make a quick buck, on those who obviously have problems, like smokers or overweight peeps, (it claims to help with eating too), it’s moraly dishonest. I’m just ranting to one warn of this poop, two it pisses me off, and the peeps who usually believe this are usually the “fantasy prone” people. Oh well enjoy! By the Way, if you believe in this stuff, I'll have a shiny pair of these for the low low price of $100.00. PS. At the new year ill be changing my blog’s name to
