The GOP has degenerated into a fundamentalist religious movement. Did you see the 2nd installment of fundie-girl's interview with Charley Gibson? She has absolutely no sense of compromise or working with others or uniting the country except under the rule of a theocracy.

She is against any form of gun control, specifically semi-auto weapons.

She's against abortion in any circumstance except to "save the life of the mother." She thinks Roe should be reversed.

She said she asked the town librarian about parents banning books. She did not propose banning books and the list of proposed titles was fabricated. She did not say anything about how parents would go about banning books from a public library or mention restricting titles from children as an alternative.

I feel sad for the party of Abe Lincoln that republicans would abrogate their ideals and noble sense of purpose to those of a religious fanatic. Had someone told me a year ago the GOP would erode to this pathetic level, I'd have called him deluded. Had anyone suggested people would actually give someone with a God-complex serious attention, I'd have thought him crazy.

What's wrong with semi-automatic weapons?

Sooo, what's your point?  The proposed list of titles wasn't fabricated?  Or are you just slingin' poo like a zoo monkey.

And courious, I strongly encourage you and all your friends to wear those t-shirts everywhere you go.

Dril, they're drowning men grabbing for anything. The best thing to do is to paddle away and leave them.

I think you guys are so enamored with the image of a hot babe who tots babies, bibles and guns that you can't see anything else. What have the republicians stated that they would do for the country except carry on Bush's administration? Or do you think that's working out well?

How about the Iraq war is "God's plan" and our troops are over there doing "God's work?" Now that's a take-charge decision for a commander-in-chief. You don't see the insanity of that?

I don't like babies, Bibles, or guns.

My life has been just fine during Bush's administration. It gets better every year.

I care absolutely nothing about the Iraq war and how the troops are doing or not doing. I find the entire subject to be extremely monotonous.

Do you really think that the VP can go against congress and reverse roe vs wade??? I like my guns, as long as they are legal. I'll keep as many as the law allows, that is my second amendment right. And if you want to wear Hitler on a t-shirt go for it. But it will not get what you think you are trying to say across. So feel free to wear you Hitler t-shirt.....please.

As a VP, probably not. As president, she'd try because God tells her to. God would also tell her to get creationism taught in science classes, restrict birth control, block stem cell research, commit our sons and daughters to ""God's plan" and do "God's work" in places like Iraq. And God would tell her to continue the Bush administration policies. We know how well that worked out.

When GOD sends me the plan, that directs me to submit to Palin. She gets my vote.

But not before..

I believe Politics and Religion comments are a very good way to lose Friends... As there are no winners with either, nobody and everybody is either Right or Wrong...
