Incredible story out of Fresno
The Fresno Bee had a pretty incredible story this weekend about a guard in the Fresno jail who was writing racist, threatening letters to violent inmates -- and signing them with the name and address of a guy who was suing him.

This poor innocent guy suddenly started getting letters and threats from inmates he had never heard of.

It's a long story, but worth a read.

Wotta maroon! I hope they charge him with a crime and he has to be incarcerated with the inmates he was duping.

Identity theft and mail fraud comes to mind, too.  Do *NOT* p*ss off the Postal Inspectors.

What was once a $350,000 lawsuit now becomes a $6 million lawsuit thanks to the ineptness of the Fresno cops.

Sounds like they take lessons from the Bakersfield cops.

He got one year in the county jail. He'll be out June 16 with good behavior. He wanted probation, telling the judge that this was his first black mark on his record, blah blah blah, etc. She didn't go for it (she was, like, pissed). She locked his butt up for a year. Good for her.
