Joe Biden's Racist Comments Not A Concern To MSM.

Has the mainstream media ever pressed Biden for an explanation for these comments?  I don't think so. His free ride since being named as Barrack Hussein Obama's running mate continues.  I guess that since he didn't use the term "macaca", it's not really an issue.

I think the blatant hypocrisy of the media is working in favor of McCain/Palin.

Of *COURSE* it is, Sam.  Which is why they whine about the media--they're working the refs they've already paid off.

.

But I have to admit that Palin made a masterful appearance on Meet The Press this morning.  There wasn't a question asked she wasn't completely ready for.

It took only 769 days for Reverend Jeremiah Wrights most famous congregant to accept an invitation to appear on Fox News Sunday.  It is safe to say that Gov. Palin will not take as long.

How's this for a racist issue: McCain appeared on Face the Nation this morning. He was reminded that only 36 non-white delegates were at the RNC. He was asked how can the republican party survive with this kind of membership? McCain answered: "It can't." McCain further commented that such numbers are "an obvious disappointment."

Of course it won't, dril.  Fox News is owned by the Republican National Committee.  Which is OK, because Murdoch owns the RNC.

You'll note that Obama was brave enough to appear on Fox News, yet Palin hid shivering in Alaska.  That's what Putin wants to see in an American VP, someone who's scared to Face the Press or Meet the nation.

Bob Schieffer on Face the Nation made his parting shot to McCain that he looks forward to interviewing fundie-girl next week.

Geez Random, you had me going for a sec. Well, if Ms. Palin was on "Meet the Press" it appears that she has aged 20 years, gotten a sex change operation, and switched political parties.

I did note that Biden was asked about how he would debate fundie-girl. Biden answered that he didn't know what her policy is. Did that mean "policy" as in specifics of political agenda or policy as in her appearing at a debate. Could be either.

Hey Driln, it doesn't take much fact checking to determine that Ms. Palin is flat-out lying about "the bridge to nowhere" in her speeches. Are you going to call her on that lie?  It is a hell of a lot more relevant than what you're alleging about Biden.

Another lie by Palin:

Last week in her address to the nation, Palin stepped far over the line of truthiness (thanks Steven Colbert) when she told the country, "I fought to bring about the largest private-sector infrastructure project in North American history. And when that deal was struck, we began a nearly forty billion dollar natural gas pipeline to help lead America to energy independence."

Nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact the state has done little more to move the gas pipeline forward over the last twenty months than to grant a Canadian company $500 million to push paperwork with no guarantee a pipeline will be built.

Anchorage Daily News reporter Wesley Loy reported last month;

Palin said in her press conference that the state never before had commitments to build this line. Now we do. That's incorrect.

TransCanada has not promised to actually build the gas line, one of the state's grandest and most frustrated economic development dreams.

The state license, awarded under the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act, or AGIA, which the Legislature passed at Palin's request last year, is not a construction contract and does not guarantee a pipeline will be built."
