Amazing that you would post this and think it wasn't a condemnation of conservatives and their loose cannon mode of politics in recent times. I agree with the criticism of Obama that IS implied here, however: he needs to start acting in a more headstrong fashion to run the agenda past the party of no. Ignore them. You don't know why you are mad, RG? I've told you many times: you identify with an imagined white majority that no longer exists, and continues to slide into minority status. You think, as the country becomes less WASPish, that you are somehow threatened. You feel less control over your life as the country becomes more a place for all people, particularly non-white ones. You are not only mad, but afraid. I want you to think about all the nice people you have met who aren't white. There are plenty. Concentrate. These are your fellow Americans. Embrace them. posted by
