where can someone play live in Bakersfield? I mean open mic(electric). I want to show up with my drum sticks and bring my friend and his guitar...4 comments from 4 users

Trouts has jam sessions on Sundays. Last I heard the Playhouse wasn't country any more. Could be wrong though. Ethyls has a jam session too I understand. Now..you talkin' country or rock? posted by

I'd try asking over at the sister site bakotopia.com~ they are a younger bunch and have many musicians and bands,good luck!
