Tom DeLay tries to pull a fast one..gets caught and corrected.
Washington, DC -- In an April 25 Politico op-ed, Tom DeLay (R-TX), the disgraced former House majority leader, claimed that philanthropist and progressive financier George Soros funds Media Matters for America -- a claim The Politico corrected in today’s print edition, stating, “A column in Tuesday’s Politico, ‘How Good Is the Media’s Campaign Coverage?’ by Tom DeLay, contained an error. George Soros has not funded the organization Media Matters for America.” (The Politico, April 26, 2007)

It's quite funny..almost hysterically that Hot Tub Tommy would talk about something about which he knows little about..oh wait..DeLay has already been caught with falsehoods and half-truths in his recently released book..anyone know how well that book is selling btw?

He also said in the past few days that Reid and Pelosi are walking the line to treason  because he doesn't like their non-unicorn and buttercup take on the Iraq fiasco, and said they are motivated only by politics. The man that redistricted an entire state for himself said this.

Tom DeLay caught making false statements?  Take away his glasses!  As for his judgements on Reid and Pelosi, which one's under indictment?

.

Irony is when the redistricting caused Texas to *LOSE* status in the new Congress, and Hot Tub Tom's shenanigans *AFTER* getting kicked out cost them a seat.

That was BillO's defense against his @sshat comments: Media Matters BAD! Never mind they only take his transcripts and reprint them, context and all. They have never been found to inaccurately reprint anyone's comments. This is a red herring, pure and simple.

Remember when there was a time that the FCC held network stations accountable for what their hosts and guests said on the air? Boy, weren't those the days.

hate to tell you this but George S.  does fund Media Matters thru a web of companies.  O'rilley had a segament on it and Soros camp admitted it!  Media  Matters is soooo left wing they are off the charts!  There best friends are Move-on.org also funded by Soros.

They may be "left wing", but they're also "correct". Show me where they've incorrectly quoted someone or taken something out of context, bakodon. Anywhere.

Then it should be easy for you to prove it.

We'll wait.
