Granny takes matters into her own hands and proves that you're never too old to think on your feet, react with courage and fight back without ever having to hurt someone! Although I have full confidence that if that young kid who broke into her house made one wrong move toward her she would have used that shotgun like she meant business. Here's a clip about the 85 year old woman. I was at work when the news was being spread like wildfire. We stopped what we were doing to have a look see. Now this kind of news always makes me go hmmm? You go girl!
On August 15, 2008 a Sasquatch was reportedly discovered by two men from GA. Their findings included tracks, sightings of other Sasquatch creatures and wouldnt you know it, a dead sasquatch? Which was photograped laying inside of a freezer. One hollywood mask and costume maker believes that the costume was one of his designs. And debunks this whole story complete with accusations that it's his costume and that Whitton and Dyer have stuffed deer parts inside of the costume to include either deer eyes or cow eyes and a deer or cow tongue. Currently an autopsy is being conducted by scientist the origination of it's DNA. What I have to wonder is this.. Mathew Whitton and Mike Dyer are co-owners of bigfoottracker.com and Bigfoot Global LLC., a company that offers Bigfoot expeditions. Hmmmm? Maybe just maybe these two guys are just trying to do a little PR work for themselves. Sasquatch or not? You be the judge. You can read about it at www.searchingforbigfoot.com but don't hold your breath. Are the hearts of some criminals so hardedned and cruel that they would resort to attacking a helpless elderly couple in their own home and killing them? This kind of crime leaves their family , church and community to suffer the greatest sentence of grief that even time cannot heal because of the nature of the crime. What would compel anyone to take the live of an elderly couple? What coward (s) would feel it necessary? This is an especially wicked and evil crime because of it's nature. And the person (s) who committed this crime will certainly be caught because when we do especially wicked crimes such as this it follows wherever we go in the form of an aura we cannot shake. There is no justification to take another's life save justice, and serving the penalty of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. To take another's life for any other reason is a frightening sentence to face, as it is not the man behind the bench, but the God upon the throne that will have last judgement. I'd rather fall into the hands of any angry mob than the hands of a angry God. Crimes are progressive. Once that type of crime is commited, the heart warps itself. It steps over from a level of consciousness to a horably wicked one. Where there is no peace, no love, no acceptance, no forgiveness. Only a certain expectation of judgement in the life hereafter. I still miss you Bakersfield! Isn't it funny how easy it is to dream about getting out, and then when you do you find you cannot wait to return. Well, that's my story, anyway. I have been away now for what seems like ages. 7 years to be exact. So I hope to return in October when my aunt has her wedding. That will be exciting news as she has been single for over 20 years. (ssh...don't say a word). Honestly though, Bakersfield is a place where you know everyone, and though you can't stand to see the same faces everyday, there's something nice about knowing who your neighbors are. This was just food for thought, nothing more. I miss you. I hope to return home again, sometime soon. It's been a long wait for the guilty verdict of Mr. Vincent Brothers. For some it's victory, for other's a loss. It is unfortunate that such a promising man who had a lot going for him now faces a grim future. Equally as unfortunate are the loss of his three children, and two women who had every right to live. People may feel that this was an unfair trial and that he was set up, but in defense I can say that evidence is what makes or breaks a case. We rely heavily upon these crucial elements when giving a case it's merit. And we must use evidence as our allies when convicting or excusing someone. It's the difference between allowing someone who is dangerous on the streets or letting somone go free who was wrongly charged. And that difference of the rational mind to be presented with reasonable evidence to make a rational conclusion compells the juror to be cautious, weigh all evidence in matters such as this and to hand out verdicts. Their decsions will affect the community for a long time to come by minimizing the risk to you and I who live as law abiding citizens and expect that our community should be safe and free from those who would harm us.
