Disconnect with movie critics
A week ago, movie critic Richard Roeper ripped the movie "Evan Almighty," giving it only one star.

The movie starring Steve Carell and Morgan Freeman, is about a modern politician who is directed by God (Morgan Freeman) to build an ark.

Roeper's review was so critical that we almost didn't go watch the movie.

But we did and it was delightful. The audience, by its laughter and applause,  enjoyed it too.

Throughout the movie, I kept trying to figure out what Roeper didn't like about the movie.

It was fun entertainment suitable for the whole family. Maybe that was the problem.

Hey ~I love "little Nicki" but the critics ate it alive, rightfully so.I turn to the critics to decide if I am going to plunk down the dollars to see movies like "evening " ,not comedies..some people like animals pooping.some do not
