Does this happen with your significant other (or wife, or lover, or only friend on the face of the planet)?
One of you can handle a little gore in a movie and the other winces?
I like action movies and some have a tendency to splatter blood. My wife prefers cute love stories where they only splatter the love.
So we went out and saw "Eastern Promises" over the weekend. A knife fight in a sauna. Something is going to get red in that deal.
I told my wife when to close...
Barry Manilow has decided that he is boycotting "The View" because Elisabeth Hasselbeck is on it. My understanding is he is also a friend of Rosie O' Donnell's.
Here is a statement that he put on his site:
"I wanted to let you know that I will no longer be on The View tomorrow as scheduled. I had made a request that I be interviewed by Joy, Barbara or Whoopi, but not Elisabeth Hasselback [sic]. Unfortunately, the show was not willing to accommodate this simple request...
