Cool, a little booze is good for me
I am not a heavy alcohol drinker. The reason is it hurts.

I buy a 12-pack of beer and it usually lasts me one to two months.

A new study says light drinking appears to be good for you.

This University of Florida study says people who have one to seven drinks per week were 30 percent  less likely to develop heart disease over six years. They were also less likely to die of any cause.

Other studies have similar findings.

Heavy drinkers and alcoholics, on the other hand, are likely to die of all sorts of maladies, including being smashed on the road.

Doesn't this make you feel good about being a lightweight....drinker?

Wow, one of the best known party schools says drinking is good for you. Ok, I'll drink to that.

I'm no lightweight either. A little Jameson lightens my mood right up. I just tried white hawk IPA and the first sip make you go "WOW" It's not what I would call light, but damn it's good.

It's Hoppy!

A little wine now and then will do you almost as much good as chocolate.

erik, what kind is your fave. Chopin, Belvidere, or Grey Goose are mine. No flavored vodkas.

Stoli isn't too bad either. I like it frozen thick. I used to really like absolut, but it gives me a headache now. I wonder if it changed or I did.

Just Bud Light for me. I can't tolerate any hard alcohol - by the time I was 21 I was done with it. Made me too mean. Must be because I'm American Indian and Irish, eh? Nothing funnier than seeing a short chic trying to fight with a tall guy. Tequila and stuff would make me CRAZY!
