The Archery Shop
I recently bought my son his first compound bow from eBay. I took it the Archery Shop to see if they would check the draw weight on the bow for me. The guy behind the counter asked where I got the bow and when I told him from eBay he said it would be a minimum of a $75.00 charge. By no means of the imagination did I expect him to do it for free but $75.00 is way out of line for 2 minutes of work. Apparently if you do not buy your bow from their store they do not want your business. I am planning on buying some arrows, a new sight and a few other items for my bow in the very near future. I am also going to purchase a bow for my step-son but I Guarantee I will not be purchasing anything from The Archery Shop ever. Numerous of my close archery friends shop there and I have advised them against future purchases. You would think that in today’s current economy they would appreciate any business they could get. From what I understand this business is locally owned as well. Both my wife and I try to support locally owned business whenever possible but this is one I would like to see go OUT OF BUSINESS.
