I'm sorry, but there are Christians here that I don't understand. Yes, I am one, no, I don't believe getting "technical" and going around quoting Bible verses is helpful to anyone. (Except Christians). My Pastor calls this "christian-ese". I don't speak that language.

I have nothing to with religion. I don't think of Christianity as a religion. The true basis of the Bible is developing a relationship with God. Point, Blank, Period. Religion is man made, they make up all their own rules. They "tweak" the Bible to their own desires.

Here it is as I see it; TRUE Christianity is about love. It's not about going around, speaking Christianese to people who have NO IDEA what you're talking about. If you want to spread the message of God and Jesus, talk less, serve more. Christ didn't walk around pointing fingers at people saying SINNER! REPENT NOW! No, He went and hung out with the sinners and "tax collectors", let THEM come to HIM, met them at a similiar level, and if THEY brought the subject up, He'd give them an opportunity. He talked TO them and not AT them. He showed them love, mercy, forgivness and healing. He didn't do any harm to the pharasees (non-believers), He just spoke the truth and they got offended, and left them alone. He knew there was nothing He could say to change their minds.

To be Christ like is to be humble, to think of self LESS and of God's work MORE. Gods work is love, sacrifice and mercy. Not to do it to boast in self, becase we can't do anything good without God. God's work is pure love.

I'm not perfect by any means. I can safely say I've broken all the 10 commandments and all the deadly sins. I'm not saying I walk the perfect walk, I just walk with God, does what He asks, and the people around me see the change in me. My smile is wider and its more sincere. I have peace, love, and joy. Something I haven't had since I was a carefree kid.

My version of Heaven is here on earth. God's healing has freed me of SO much, I nearly am a kid again. Heaven to me is contentment, even during chaos. It's having a feeling of inner peace, no matter how much weight I gain, how many zits I have or having a bad haircut. Heaven to me is running late somewhere and NOT going psychotic in panic. Heaven to me is being around people that I used to be angry at and laughing, having a good time with them. I don't worry or analyze what other people say, and I don't reflect on what Heaven is going to be like. God's gift to me after my "cleansing" processes is a gift enough. Everything else is icing on the cake.
